An amazing Azerbaijani restaurant in Washington DC! The qutabs, dushbere, erishte, plov, dolma, unique pastries, baked goods, breakfast dishes (kuku, scrambled eggs with tomatoes), thyme tea, and homemade döners — everything was absolutely delicious. It truly felt like we traveled back to Azerbaijan. We loved it so much that we came both for breakfast and dinner in the same day. The cakes are divine, what a treat! Just moved to DC after a year in Europe and dreaded coming back to American treats, but this place is like bringing a piece of Europe with us. No need to try cakes anywhere else. Lucky us!

Sharbat is a cozy gem in DC that offers a truly authentic taste of Azerbaijani cuisine. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are incredibly kind and attentive.

I had the qutab, and it was absolutely delicious.
