Their restaurant has decent food, but they are nasty. I saw a mouse and a roach. I this the east coast so sometimes you can't prevent it if the door opens. But I saw employees not washing hands after leaving out the bathroom. Not worth your health.

Last-minute dinner plans led to a quick scramble, but my son's rave reviews about his favorite spot definitely sparked my excitement! I ordered 20 pieces of flounder and tried to get 20 perch, but they only had six, so I swapped out the rest for two orders of their delicious grilled shrimp skewers. It came with a side of flavorful rice; I wish I had pictures to share! I’m already planning my next visit and will definitely snap pics then. The food was fresh and tasty—worth mentioning that cooking the perch a bit longer and adding cilantro to the rice with parsley could elevate it even more. Can’t wait to go back!

Good food and good service

Was searching for a late night eat in southeast DC and chanced upon this place.

Not terrible overall, but definitely a couple misses. Was slightly surprised to find calamari on the menu at a place like this and thought I'd try it for the novelity. Turns out, sometimes the book does match the cover. Really terrible calamari. I'm not sure if it had gone off, or if they just hadn't been refreshing their fry oil frequently enough, but I definitely detected several fish flavors that shouldn't have been there. Basically inedible.

The collard greens were OK, but a little bland. The fried chicken was good, but hard to go too wrong there. The cheese steak was a pretty reasonable attempt at a cheese steak, but it was a tad small.

Went here yesterday for lunch with a friend and ordered the chicken platter with rice, salad and some pita bread for 10 bucks. They served the platter with white sauce and a red sauce. The red sauce was extremely spicy and wished that the person at the counter would have let us know or given us the choice of sauces or not even to have any sauce. The guy at the counter barely spoke English and had very little customer service skills he wasn't smiling he wasn't happy clearly miserable at his job. Probably from Pakistan, Bangladesh or some miserable part of India. DC Health regulations require that restaurants serve customers water for free. When I asked for two cups of water with ice to go along with our platter he said that he didn't have ice and let us know that we have to buy water for $1.50 this was piss poor service. Overall I don't recommend this place the overall counter area was clean, but only one table for seating. It's in a nondescript strip mall off of Minnesota avenue next to an AutoZone and clearly these people aren't happy to see you come into their business. I will never go back nor will I recommend other people visit this place. It'll probably be closed soon just like the Pizza Boli's next door. I gave the place one star but if I could give it a zero star I would.

We ordered Door Dash for delivery while staying at a hotel. We ordered the Shrimp and Oyster meals. Horrible doesn't begin to describe the oysters and the shrimp wasn't much better. The oysters were over salted and had a foul taste like they weren't fresh. Called to complain but was told it wasn't salt but lemon pepper. No offer to refund. Save your money, order elsewhere.

It may be a great place for a quick stop, but the clerk was not customer service friendly. I walked in, and he let me stand there while he played on his phone. I guess he must be the owner. I'm sure that the people who live in that area locally are glad the store is there because there's not many choices in that area? They are advertised bigly on the DoorDash and Uber Eats, and every time I pull up restaurants near me, they are the first ones that come up. I won't say that I wouldn't eat there because that's not true. In a pinch, I probably would stop and get an order of fries, or maybe some wings, but there's nothing else in that store that would make me specifically go there.

Was not loaded of fries.Gave and payed wrong orders;had to checked.And all people orders was sitting on the cooking finished table top not heated lamps or kept warm;was cold when pick-up.Manager was understanding and politely would make another order to replace the order with timely called to be hot with no charge.

Called in and order for 20 piece i whiting and 12 piece trout when I got there to pick it up none of it was ready then they couldn’t find the ticket so when they found the ticket, the person didn’t put it in the system so they rushed to fix my food and when I got the food for the party, the fish was not done. Well it was broke up. Some of them were too hard and dark, but I My daughter accepted it which I would have not.
but it’ll be a long time before I go back to shark.
