Well, I was in the mood for a falafel sandwich. Was going to go my usual spot which was also close, but chose this one on a whim!Due to construction in the area, parking was a mess, but it seems to appeal to the local businesses in the area so foot travel is best. The concept was interesting with an assembly line, build your own. However, I can’t stand when the falafel is the SAME price as the Meat proteins ?…As far as flavor, it was Ok, nothing amazing, falafels weren’t Smoking Hot, more like room temp and they toast the finial product for about a min in a griddle style contraption. And this might have caused my wrap to rip prematurely, soo, keep it wrapped in the paper to avoid a Mess! For the price ($11)… definitely would Not do it again. Shouk’s falafel is better for that price! The young lady that made it was friendly. And the seating is limited. Small little store front.

It was alright. I arrived right at opening so I was expecting fresh, good food for a decent price. Most shawarma I’ve had was cut straight from the spit with maybe a little touch up on the grill. This ain’t it.The meat was already in a bin and it was kind of tough, probably from sitting and steaming in a bin for a hot second. Wrap was kind of like a cracker and after being toasted tasted kinda like burnt toast. It was pretty tiny for the price ($10.99), kinda the same size as a Costco hotdog. Taste just wasn’t there.Overall it was “aight”.

The sandwiches here are delicious! I come here at least once a week. You can’t find authentic shawarma in this area but this place is it! The meat is delicious and sliced in front of you, the ingredients are fresh, and the use of parsley gives me nostalgia. If you’re looking for true shawarma or even a tasty lunch, this place is a must!

I found myself backtracking to this hidden gem of a restaurant after a detour from my original lunch spot down the street, and let me tell you, it was a detour well worth taking. Opting for a meat shawarma wrap with all the fixings to go, I was in for a treat - a delicious and conveniently handheld meal that perfectly suited my on-the-go plans. Embarking on a short stroll towards the White House, I delved into the flavors of this culinary creation. Each component contributed to a symphony of tastes, uniquely distinctive yet harmoniously intertwined. It was a culinary journey where every bite felt like a carefully orchestrated melody. The staff, true to the local charm, exuded friendliness and efficiency, elevating the entire experience. Portions were not only generous but also delivered excellent value for the culinary adventure I was on. For those eager to savor the essence of the local scene and indulge in where the locals go for their on-the-go delights, this spot is a must-visit - even if just for a delightful in-between meal rendezvous.

This is my favorite shawarma in DC! The ingredients are so fresh and remind me of authentic shawarma from the Middle East. The service is chipotle style and was a great experience. There's a couple tables inside and outside to have a quick bite. Very clean and welcoming place.

Owner is very nice. Shawarma was really good. I love that they let you completely customize your shawarma in any way you want. Very authentic and yet still fast food. The fries are 100/10 amazing.

They decided to close Saturday at 4PM while it says they close 6PM online. Very disappointing. Show respect to your clients.
