Fresh and delicious food and friendly service. Highly recommended
The place doesn’t look like much but the food is definitely worth it. Takes about 10 minutes or less and everything seems fresh. Big portions that I usually have leftovers. The one lady that works there, always seems to attract men that come in, don’t pay for their food, and flirt at the counter. Every time I order and she’s there, my order has been wrong. I didn’t know there was a difference between the tandoori chicken platter and the regular chicken platter and when I ordered “2 chicken platters, not spicy”, I got one with chicken quarters with the bones and one with chopped chicken. The first time I got that same platter, the chicken was dark meat and had more neutral seasoning, every other time it’s been white meat with red color and different levels of spicy. At your own risk.

I ordered from this place from DoorDash. I had ordered from here in the past so I thought why not, I'll order again. This time, I ordered the lamb and chicken bowl and I was eating it when I felt something hard when I took a bite. I initially thought it was a bone since it was pretty tough. I spit out my bite and to my surprise there was a rusty SCREW that popped out of my mouth. I was shocked! I immediately called the restaurant (and DoorDash) and the owner asked me for pictures which I shared. After that the owner, dismissed me like I was crazy and said there weren't any screws like that at his facility. Wow - I was at a loss for words. I'd never found a metal object in my food before and then I was dismissed like I was crazy. The screw actually chipped my tooth, so I recently went into the dentist. Additionally I filed a complaint with the local food and health department. Trust me - there are better halal food restaurants out there. Take your business elsewhere!

I saw the biggest rat I’ve ever seen in my life in there yesterday. I was coming from the bar and someone suggested I go there. I see the rat climbing down a pipe on the wall by the food. The health department needs to stop by there immediately.

Walk distance to Georgia Ave/Petworth station, friendly customer services, the food is really good &clean . Only thing I have bad to say is I wish they would make the outside more welcoming it's nice just the black covering gives the look of not open and running,I walked past this restaurant thinking it was closed and I think they deserve a lot more business

I ordered from here through Uber Eats once, and I won't be doing it again! The chicken was dry and tiny, everything seemed old, the "salad" was a joke with tiny tomato bits, and to top it off, there were hair pieces scattered throughout the food. If that's what's visible, who knows what other unsanitary practices are happening in the kitchen. Absolutely disgusting. 0 stars should be an option.
Me and husband recently got food from this carry out spot during a late night after we finished a concert in DC. The food was tasting delicious and fresh, even though it was late night!?The staff were nice as well. Please give this spot a try, if you get the chance!?
