I really enjoy this place and the environment is fantastic, but my recent experience was marred by poor coordination between the servers. One server brought us the bill which paid, and then another approached us outside the place in an unprofessional manner, demanding payment. This awkward situation was disappointing, as it left a negative impression on what otherwise would have been a great visit.

Great service and waiters. Very friendly staff. You'll go home with a heavy smell of cigar. Be mindful of what clothes you wear here. It'll be a while for the scent to leave.

We arrived at 10:30 pm. Door locked. After couple minutes girl came and opened the door. She said right away at the door that they are closing soon. We asked if they close at midnight and she confirmed. 45 minutes later, they are sweeping with the brooms even though guests are still sitting, trying to enjoy their drinks and cigars. Another 15 minutes later and a guy brings out a freaking vacuum cleaner. I kid you not. Try to have a drink and smoke while someone is vacuuming next to you. Absolutely horrible experience!!! Note to the owner: Fire management!

Visiting from NJ and stopped by here. Came here for some lunch during work. I didn't indulge in the cigars or drink so can't speak on that. But the food was good and the servers were fast and attentive. Would go back

Was in DC for work, and a co-worker invited us to have a cigar and some whiskey. The staff was amazing. They cater to you and are constantly available for you to order drinks or give you a light if your cigar goes out. The place is quaint. They have multiple TVs going with sports. I will definitely come back.

The food was incredible, the cigar menu was exhaustive and given you're in a metro area, in a non-member smoking lounge, the prices were totally fair.
The thing I can ding was the atmosphere.
1) Cigarettes are allowed. I know it sounds petty to talk about smoking a different type of tobacco but hear me out - you're enjoying a $20-30 stick and suddenly you can smell a Pall Mall burning.
2) TV quality and placement were horrid. The tvs were quite old and small, not to mention the fact they were not very strategicly placed at all.
I'm planning on going again. I really liked it, but I'd ban cigarettes and invest in new tvs.
