We had brunch at Shilling canning Company and could not have been more impressed. Their menu was well curated, service was exceptional, and the food was incredible. Highly recommend!
The food and service were exceptional. Only 2 caveats: (1) There is NO bread whatsoever, even bread you'd be willing to pay for. Dinner without good bread really diminishes my pleasure in a meal. Next time I go, I'll sneak in a bagette. (2) The menu and wine list on the website don't accurately reflect what's available at the restaurant. This can be quite frustrating if one goes specifically to try a particular dish.
Shockingly delicious food across all three courses. The ham biscuits were incredible - perfect mix of salty, sweet and spicy. The amish fried chicken paired with the hoe cake was memorably delicious. And the vanilla latte panna cotta was perhaps the most surprisingly delicious item. Cannot wait to go back for more!
