This is my favorite coffee and tea shop along H Street. Local, great drinks, and tasty pastries. Their chai is the best. On weekends it's crowded, but during the week it's usually easy to find a seat.
Super cozy vibe and inviting atmosphere!-- they're roasting fresh beans from the three original coffee growing regions-- Sidamo, Yirgacheffe and Harrar-- and brewing it in both traditional Ethiopian style as well as modern coffee styles. Delicious vegan food and a great tea selection as well. This is my favorite coffee house in DC
Okay, Sidamo Coffee and Tea totally blew me away! The vibe is super chill but still has that authentic, local feel. The coffee? Incredible — bold, smooth, and packed with flavor. You can tell they really care about what they’re serving. The baristas are friendly and always down to make a great recommendation. It’s the perfect spot to post up with your laptop or just hang out with friends over a really good cup of coffee.
