An overdue review. Side door has always been a great neighborhood establishment, but their Thanksgiving service was the cherry on top. The team did a fantastic job, and you could really feel the care and consideration that went into making it happen.

I wanted to give a three star review, but I felt bad since it may be a small business. Their wings are expensive and we paid for a dozen. They didn’t send twelve. That and the lack of toppings on the pizza are why I don't want to leave five stars. But I did anyways.

Side Door Pizza, if you're a fan of the Detroit-style variety, is absolute bliss. A simple pepperoni pizza is one of the most satisfying items you'll find anywhere in Navy Yard. They offer lunch specials and much more than just pizza, but the pies are what really stars here.
