cute bar inside the washington hilton. ordered a sidecar & seasoned fries - both were delicious. our bartender was very pleasant! food selection isn't the best but i would return for the fries & drinks!

This was my first time visiting Washington DC. This restaurant was inside of the hotel that we stayed at. I thought the prices were a little excessive. I'm not sure about the entire setup, but you can get these same sandwiches in their shop (cold) for the same price. Again, I thought was excessive. I'm not paying $20+ for a cold sandwich in a gift shop. I got the Chesapeake Hot Crab Dip and the crispy calamari with roasted garlic aioli. It wasn't bad. However, I got very sick afterward. I stayed in bed all evening and remained very nauseous. Sidenote - I eventually contracted Covid during this trip. Not the restaurant's fault, lol. Not blaming them for THAT. I was participating in a large conference and sometimes things like that can be expected.

Poor service. We have been waiting for a server for over 15 minutes. We keep getting told that someone will be with us shortly. Just recently arrived to hotel. Too. Is not ready and now we cat get any food.Very poor service.

A guest can have an option of eating of the menu or the buffet. Great service and great food! The hours are until 2 so make sure that you plan accordingly!

Hotel bar....$16 cocktails. I ordered a whiskey drink and not sure I got the right one stirred up. One of us had the mule and it definitely lacked the ginger beer. Sometimes you have to partake of offerings at the hotel bar. I might walk to another one on the area.....

There were 2 nights when we didn’t feel like going out and the hotel restaurant was a good alternative. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was good and I loved their drinks!

We had a pleasant experience at a conference here. The lounge is located in the main lobby of the Washington Hilton. Service was very quick initially but lapsed when we had finished our drinks and apps. It took about 20 minutes to flag someone down to pay. The Sidecar signature cocktails were creative and pleasant.

Stopped by Sidecar for an evening snack and drinks. We had the Chicken Flatbread with arugula and BBQ sauce drizzle. The food and drinks were better than average, but a little on the high end for what you get. If TripAdvisor had a "Better-Than-Average" rating, I would have given it that.
