The restaurant is out of business
Flavor for sure and pretty high quality stuff. Only issues is that he uses red coloring for his pork and the lean version is not very lean.

This is one of the few Vietnamese/Banh Mi options in this area. So, short of traveling to Eden Center, the quality is decent and the premium in pricing is reasonable.
Vegetarian options: Assorted tofu options.

Best bánh mi in the area short of driving out to Eden Center! And the owner puts so much care into his food and business.
This is the best banh mi I’ve had in DC. John is so nice and cares about his customers. A real treat.

I went here craving a banh mi and this spot absolutely delivered. I got mine marinated pork belly and completely devoured it. The owner was also kind and polite. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

While planning a trip to DC, I was thrilled to see that there was a Vietnamese restaurant with halal options (the chicken and beef dishes are halal and are clearly marked on the menu) and made sure to add it to our itinerary. I ordered a vermicelli noodle bowl with lemongrass beef chuck and fish sauce, and it came with carrots, bean sprouts, and fresh basil and cilantro. The incredibly tender slices of beef were definitely the star of the meal, but the whole meal was delicious. I would for sure become a regular customer here if I lived closer!
The restaurant is takeout/delivery only, and on the advice of their website (which is hilarious), I would recommend calling first to confirm their hours that day. As a heads-up, if you go there to pick up your food, the restaurant is below ground-level and requires walking down a set of stairs, so it's unfortunately not wheelchair-accessible.
Props to the owner/chef/website designer for running a great establishment!

This is an online-only business with no actual physical place for customers to order or eat from. Please update your Google listing to make it clear that this is not a café with any kind of in-person dining, and that customers cannot even enter the business to order and that they must order online for take out only.
I wouldn’t have wasted my time trying to come here if the Google listing made it clear that the physical business is completely closed to the public.
They were super quick to get us our food! Lovely service especially for a place that is only takeout. Highly recommend the tofu Banh mi, it was a great meal, so delicious and extremely affordable. I got the mango habanero sauce and it was so delicious. Make sure to order based on the wait time for food.

The reviews are pretty much spot on. This nifty little hole in the wall certainly does not disappoint in flavor and quality. The vegan pho was healing and super delicious. The pork belly banh mi was super delectable. The owner is down to earth and funny. A great experience overall. Definitely recommend this place. Ya won’t be disappointed unless you’re a Karen :)

My partner and I have been here half a dozen times and it’s always delicious. We both get bahn mi (tofu and pork usually) and must add the crispy eggplant! I like to add mango habanero sauce too. The iced coffee is excellent as well, the perfect addition. On top of that it’s pretty inexpensive and the owner is so sweet! He’ll give a call with any discrepancies or to let you know the order is ready for pickup. All around a great spot! It’s take out only so we bring our sandwiches down the block to Book Hill Park. Definitely recommend.
