If I could give 10 stars I would. We ordered the hot honey lemon pepper chicken sandwich and catfish and grits and I was very pleased with the taste and presentation of the dishes! The atmosphere was so chill! Staff is very friendly as well!

I ordered this from Uber Eats. It's supposed to be an Egg and Cheese Biscuit Sandwich. It's dry as hell. There's no cheese, it lacks honey butter, and the biscuit is dry. It doesn't taste fresh like it did from the Silver Spring location. I'm highly disappointed after rating them so high the first time I ate there. I wish I could get a refund. This was not worth the money. 1 ⭐ Star.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Milk and Honey in DC and would never recommend this place to anyone. After placing my order, I waited for an hour and a half with no updates or explanation about the delay. When I finally decided to request a refund, the cashier was shockingly rude and dismissive. She didn’t offer any apology or attempt to address the situation, nor did a manager step in to acknowledge or resolve the poor service. It was clear that customer satisfaction wasn’t a priority.
What made the experience even worse was watching at least 20 DoorDash drivers come and go, picking up orders without any issues. Meanwhile, my order—and that of others who were dining in—was completely ignored. It’s frustrating to sit at a table in the restaurant, only to see that delivery orders are given priority over the customers who actually took the time to visit the establishment.
I understand that there’s no table service here, but that’s no excuse for neglecting in-store customers while catering almost exclusively to delivery services. It felt like they didn’t value our business at all.
The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and blatant prioritization of delivery orders over dine-in customers made this experience a complete waste of time and money. I will never go back, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before visiting. Good luck if you decide to give this place a try—you’ll need it.

Great experience. Stopped here for lunch. First stop when arriving from NYC. Definitely a must-stop restaurant. Food had tons of flavor and soul. Cant wait to eat here again. Great job M&H. My family loved it. Keep up the great work.
Parking: Can easily park on the main road. $2 per hour or so. Plenty of parking.
The food was delicious. There were 4 of us in our party, and one dish was ready in a decent amount of time, but the other three we had to check the ETA before they were finally ready. This establishment is a seat yourself, order at the counter, and wait for your name to be called to pickup your food kind of setup. I had no problem with that setup, in fact I enjoyed it. My first time there and I'd definitely go back.
