Milk & Honey really impressed me today!
From the front staff to the cook, everyone was pleasant and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely love what they do—nothing but smiles all around.
I placed my order online, and unfortunately one item didn’t show up on their end. Even so, they took the time to try figure out the confusion and made sure I received my missing item without any issues.
Customer service like this is hard to find these days. Location was clean and the ambience was everything.
Everyone was kind, patient, and professional.
I’ll definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Jennifer at the H st location today and she was outstanding and very welcoming and I also met the chef and he was very pleasant as well( sorry didn’t get his name) and it was also was another gentleman and I didn’t get his name either but the entire staff was very welcoming and friendly and my needs as well as the other customers that were in the store without missing a beat

They act like they don’t like to work. I walked in There was nobody behind the register, and when they finally saw me, they looked at me and walked away while being on the phone the entire time. Terrible customer service.

What truly elevates this restaurant is its heart. The service from all staff is warm, genuine, and unhurried, embodying Southern hospitality in its purest form. You’re not rushed; you’re welcomed. This is food that honors tradition made with care. I enjoy coming to Milk n Honey atleast once a week. Fortunately for me and my new year resolution I will be here for my weekly cheat meal!!

If you are looking for soul food this is the place to go! I found this place looking for soul food spots in DC via Instagram and me and my boyfriend was definitely satisfied with my brunch. I ordered the Shrimp and grits and he got the French toast. Definitely will come here again!

I placed a order through uber eats for pick up. When I got to the restaurant the older lady at the front said it already had been picked up. and then I told her I haven't picked it up so who did you give my food to? She just kept saying it been picked up rudely. I didn't want to keep going back and forth with her so I had to call customer service for Uber eats to get my money back. it's sad because I didn't even have a chance to taste the food. I quite sure it was good I won't ever go back to this establishment ever again customer service horrible
