This H st location is smaller than the Wharf so it can get slammed so recommend you get there early and have patience. The food is fresh and delicious and worth the hype. I technically had an issue when I ordered ahead takeout and I was super delayed and Jennifer and the team helped me out tremendously. So kind plus our food was goood.

Whenever I come to dc I come to this milk and honey on H st!!! Yes ive tried others but this one has a very cultured taste that I enjoy!......the service is good! The manager(Tiffany) was very warming! ...and the cook (rodney) did a great job with the food! Im always very satisfied with my food!

Every time me and my girls go to DC, we visit Milk & Honey on H st. And EVERY SINGLE TIME it’s a hit. Good vibes, good atmosphere and good food. Tiffany, whom I think was the manager, was really great and her customer service was on point. I love the fact that they have turkey options, whereas most places only offer pork or beef options. The cook Rodney, throws down in the kitchen. The food is so flavorful. We will definitely be back on the next visit. It’s a must try!!!!

Takeout am not sure what people food standards are but this place was horrible service was terrible lady was rude should have walked away. Tried to support food was unseasoned chicken taste refried Mac n cheese old yesterday reheated microwave need to do better for price
We absolutely loved this place. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the berry French toast and it doesn’t seem like much but don’t let it fool you. It was to die for. My husband & son got the smothered chicken and biscuits and they also loved. The vibe was great: late 90’s r&b and the cutest farmhouse decor. The girl who took our order was great too; super friendly.

Didn’t realize this was an express location until we placed our order, everything is takeout - waited 50 minutes for 2 meals, they clearly cared more about getting out online orders instead of people in house. (In our waiting time, we’d seen at least 15 online orders come and go) We ordered hot honey and lemon pepper chicken sandwich and the biscoff chicken and waffles. The food tasted alright however it did seem to meet our $70 almost hour wait of expectations. Oh and skip the mac and cheese.

I love milk and honey. I come every other day am so upset that they got rid of the honey butter. I think you guys should give the honey butter back because everyone loves the honey butter h Street milk and honey has the best service ever. Hopefully, you guys give the honey butter back !!
