The shrimp and grits will forever be my GO TO meal here! The grits were so creamy and delish! The Cajun cream sauce was well-seasoned and not salty at all! I chose to dine in today and the wait time was short, about 10-15 min. I always make this stop when I'm in the area.

Let me start by saying I have been looking for a buttery biscuit since I arrived in D.C. for school from Florida for the past 4 years. And today I stumbled on that and more. Milk & Honey immediately felt like home from the familiar southern greetings to the easy listening music. Though it's more so a carry out the service was still spectacular and the food was phenomenal. Can't wait to come back!

We had a delicious breakfast here. Two of us had egg and cheese biscuit sandwiches, and my daughter had catfish and grits. We placed our order as soon as we arrived, and it did take a while to get our food (about 40 minutes) but we weren't in a hurry and it was worth the wait. The portions were really generous, and the biscuits were incredible: freshly made, buttery, with a touch of sweetness. The place is small but welcoming and there is a steady stream of delivery orders going out. We'll definitely be back!

Great food. Friendly service. Quality ingredients. We stumbled upon this spot on a cold Sunday morning. We enjoyed everything we ate and the staff could not have been nicer. Great spot for a quick bite on H street.

Waited to be greeted… sat for 10 minutes without a server acknowledging me at all… not even a glass of water. There was adequate staff and not overly crowded. I left without

I have been to several locations including the H street location I visited this morning. I order their famous shrimp and grits. This is by far the worst I ever had. Milk and honey use to give generous flavor bursting dishes. But today they disappointed me. My grits are bland barely any cream sauce the sausage are cut large medium small and extra small and burnt also the shrimp are overcooked. I tried calling but the manager mailboxis full

Our server went out of her way completely to make accommodations for someone who had dietary restrictions. 10/10 recommend. #eatthebuscuitsJoanna!!! Love her!!!
