We had smoke Datt cater my job’s Christmas party it was Fantastic everything was awesome I highly recommend. They were on time the food was hot and let’s not forget the taste was fantastic. We will definitely use them every year. !!!!!!!

I had their pulled pork and brisket today with baked beans and string beans as part of a Fooda order at my office. Everyone in the office that had some was complimenting the aroma and taste. I have been waiting for their return in the rotation. The food is so good I ordered a second plate to take home. Glad I ordered when I did they ran out of brisket half way through the lunch service.

I love them whenever they come to my job, I don’t care if I’m on a diet, I’m getting that! They never disappoint me!!!

SmokeDatt Barbecue catered our wedding for 40 people. We got the pulled pork and chicken sandwiches with mac & cheese and beans on the side. Everything was great, and everyone was raving about the mac & cheese and pulled pork especially! We had it delivered to the venue and it was so easy and one less thing to stress about. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting good, reliable, stress-free bbq catering in the DC area!

Absolutely fantastic service and BBQ! We catered a work function for ~40 personnel. Prior to the event, the staff reached out several times updating us on the status of the order. The delivery service communicated with us regularly the day the event. And the food showed up hot and on time. All the guests raved about the food, it was great BBQ! Will recommend this business for future events!

SmokeDatt provided a meal for our son’s USNA commissioning week. All expectations were met, delivered on time, packaged well, great customer service. Most importantly, the food was amazing. We ordered pulled pork, Mac & cheese, potato salad, and corn bread. A favorite cannot be chosen among those, but the pulled pork was worth it - we are picking when it comes to BBQ; George is a real pitmaster.

The food is delicious. Mac and cheese, potato salad, collard greens, pulled pork, brisket, it was all cooked to perfection and tasty. My entire office enjoyed it so much, we went back again and again.

Ordered lunch for our staff of 160 and Lord did they come through. With a request that came in a few days before the actual event (not recommended) George and his team were able to provide excellent service and deliver the most delicious meal.Have you ever ate a meal and said “oh somebody’s grandma made this with LOVE”… yup that’s all the praise our staff had. Hands down the best catered meal I’ve had thus far. This says a lot if you’re with our company.We ordered:- jumbo fried wings- salmon- four cheese Mac and cheese- collard with Turkey- veggies- riceThere wasn’t even time for us to take pictures before the pans were cleared out. The price was worth it. Not within our usual budget but again so much worth it!Will always recommend SmokeDattBBQ to anyone inquiring about catered meals.

I just ordered this from the food truck at my place of employment. I wanted to try the chopped brisket and a side of green beans (green beans were good). The lady and gentleman asked me if I wanted an additional side to make it a platter since I was already at cost, and I opted for the Mac and cheese (edible, but very greasy, and no creaminess whatever, just cheese, oil and noodles). Now for the meat which is by far the WORST chopped brisket I have ever tasted in my entire life. It was way too salty and tasted like jerky. Why do we think that dumping a ton of salt is helping the flavor of the food? For the $18.02 plus a $2.00 tip; it could have went towards the copay for high blood pressure medicine. It went in the trash, sadly. Maybe the brick and mortar is better, but I won’t be back.A refund was offered by the owner and they wanted the last 4 digits of my card, but I paid cash. While appreciated, nevertheless ridiculous. I wonder if I can get my cash back from the food truck because they still come to my place of employment weekly, which I’ll never understand why. I’m so irritated ?
