If you’re balling on a budget then it doesn’t get any better than this! Great service from an old lady, people call mama, single handedly running the shop. And the prices can’t be beat
10/10 recommend. Menu has hardly changed in all its years and the prices are still incredibly reasonable.
Wings and mumbo sauce are authentic. As a native of the DMV her sauce was on point. A little old lady helped us out and prepared our food for me and my wife and it was phenomenal. This was my first time visiting Smokey's, and I truly must say that the chicken and the wedges are the best tasting I have ever had. Now I live in laurel and will have NO problem driving to Smokey's in DC. GO GET YOU A PLATTER FROM HERE. IT IS WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY THAT YOU SPENT. ??????
