I hate to leave a bad review about this place because the service was not bad but the food needs tons of work! If you are a person who is okay with bland food or has hbp & cant have sodium, this place is for you. The chicken, rice & fajita veggies had 0 seasoning, 0 flavor. It was like someone pulled everything out of the fridge and chopped it up, sautéed it a little & just put it on a plate with no salt no nothing. It’s too bad that my boyfriend decided to order lunch for me from this place on VALENTINES DAY, because this was unbearable to eat. It was not enjoyable at all, I threw it away after less than half of the plate. Too bad, i really wanted to like this place.

Ordered Carne Asada bowl for lunch. The meat was dry, cold, tough and had no flavor. I suspect it was cooked the day or days before. They gave alot of rice and black beans, but I simply threw the bowl away after eating half of the food. My meal was not good.

Chips were stale and food had been sitting for a while. Nice people and good value however.

Went for lunch taco Tuesday. Got both a corn and flour tortilla. Both were excellent as was the generous carne asada filling with traditional toppings. I will be back !

Went here earlier this afternoon. Ordered the quesadilla with pork. The pork had a fishy taste, it was as if the meat had spoiled.

We stopped at this place on a walk through the neighborhood. They have a taco Tuesday deal- $2.50 a taco! They also have a happy hour every weekday from 4 to close. The tacos are stuffed! You can take the margaritas to go. We sat outside to eat. Definitely recommend!

Sol is the best Mexican restaurant in Tenleytown--a crowded field. Think Chipotle but with better food, alcohol and friendly staff.Everything is ordered at the counter and brought to your table, with student discounts on Tuesdays and happy hours throughout the week. Prices are nice and lines are nonexistent; most of their business seems to come from the lunch rush, so go for dinner. The fish tacos are good, but I like the chimichangas most. Can't go wrong.

Out of town and it advertises as 11:30pm close. Walked 8 blocks and arrived prior to 11pm. Was hoping to try it. They informed me and others they are closed.

I wanted something really quick to eat, so I stopped in at this take out restaurant. I walked in, and the setup was like a Chipotle. I ordered the 2 chicken tacos with everything and paid and left. When I dug in, the tacos were delicious! I enjoyed it and had a good experience.
