I come here often and have never been let down by their sushi! I love that they use high quality, fresh cuts of fish and the prices are reasonable. Love the discount after 7pm as well.

GREAT value— 50% off sushi after 7pm (from $10.5 to $5.25)!!! The tuna and salmon avocado rolls are delish and $10.5 or 50% off before closing (if there are any left).
The stickers are SUPER CUTE and $1 each!

They also offer great drinks (craft yuzu soda, topo chico, boba tea etc.)

Son of Fish Sushi Review: Delicious but Pricey

Located in Union Market, Son of Fish Sushi impresses with its standout torched salmon belly and a variety of other favorites like California rolls, Dragon rolls, and Salmon-Avo rolls. While the sushi can be a bit pricey, visiting after 6 or 7 PM, you can *sometimes* find a generous 50% discount. Overall, it's a great spot for high-quality sushi at a better value during evening hours.

I reported an overcharge to Jasmine the manager and she told me I had to wait 15-20 minutes for her to review the camera in order to issue a refund. Huge inconvenience as she had already spent some time trying to allocate the receipt. Someone with customer relations expertise is definitely needed here, she’s a liability.

This place is my go to lunch/sushi place. Such fresh fish and amazing flavors. I always go right when they open to get the freshest pick. I will gatekeep this place and what my order is at all costs but had to leave a review. The staff are so kind and will help you with anything you need. If they don’t have something I always ask if they have it and they make it to order for me!

Son of a Fish prepares fresh sushi daily. I enjoyed the Spicy Crunchy Salmon and Philly rolls. The customer service was really good and I think the food is reasonably priced for the quality. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Union market because there were lots of delicious food options and walk up bars.

Skip. Went here due to wanting sushi and it was close by. Very disappointed. I had the crab roll. Would not return nor recommend.
