This is a small shop with indoor and outdoor seating available. Since there were so many options of pastries to pick from due to all the flavor combinations. The person who helped me was super helpful and patient as I tried to figure out what to get. I ended up getting the yuzu mousse with passion fruit and guava, sakura shortbread cookies, and the matcha passion coconut tart. The yuzu mousse was delectable! I have to admit, I was worried at first with all the flavors in it, but it was enjoyable. Each layer of the tart had a distinct flavor, and when combined it was basically a medley in my mouth. It is very strong with a citrus flavor, but with a cup of hot tea it was the perfect combo for me. I've never had Sakura shortbread cookies, I see them all the time on baking vlogs but never seen them in this area so I was excited to see *real* Sakuras (cherry blossoms) as opposed to cherries. The shortbread was crispy and buttery, while the Sakura flower was salty due to the preservation process. It was a very unique flavor, but enjoyable! While the matcha passion coconut tart was very matcha forward, as it was used to make the tart shell and a light dusting on top. The passionfruit curd was a nice distinct flavor that comes through and everything mellowed out with the coconut cream. I would say that overall, everything was delicious and although a bit pricey, was well worth it. I really like the way the flavors are played around in the food and will need to try out the rest.

We ordered the golden milk croissant and kouign Amman. Both were good but a bit overpriced. Also the service was pretty slow, and it took forever for us to order and get our food. The worker also misunderstood our order and gave us a hibiscus tea instead of the latte we had asked for.

Nothing but 5 stars here, love their criossants and they also do Too Good to Go which is nice! Love the koug amman (?) which tastes like baklava in a pastry. Love this and always so nice there too

Sweet Lobby moved to this location and the rating is reflective of Sweet Lobby and the communication/guidance challenges as opposed to this business.

While the cupcakes looked adorable, I was a bit disappointed with the taste. They were a bit too dense for my liking, and the buttercream lacked flavor entirely.

I visited the Souk x Sweet Lobby pop-up at Union Market today. Lots of savory and sweet options, even later in the afternoon. We saw three kinds of Kouign-amann, and tried the pistachio. It was great with coffee! Also, I appreciate that Souk's brick and mortar location participates in "too good to go"

Had high expectations for this place but came up short on a couple things once trying it out. The place looked nice but also as if they were cleaning up and putting things away I had waited at least 5-6 minutes before I was even attended to but shortly after was and the lady was sweet and patient abs gave recommendations on what to try. The options didn't look so fresh and they had very few items I was interested in but that's just me. I opted for 4 cupcakes and let's just say these either have to be eaten within that hour you buy them or they go completely dry after. The flavors for some you could tell by the each of the names but it just lacked something that wouldn't have me saying I'd purchase any of them again. They have other options along with beverages and I believe breakfast sandwiches but I'm not too crazy on going back. It's worth a try but I'll be taking my time.

Their baked goods are creative, and not the usual. My favorites are the kougenamen(sp?), their tarts, and cookies. If you warm that Kougenamen up for a good 10 seconds....it is out of this world!!!

Great experience! Loved talking with the Ladies in the shop. I got ginger and dried oranges for tea - - no food.

Pastries are AMAZING. People are super friendly! Cupcakes are gorgeous. Saturdays are the day to visit because there's lots of extra things in the case!

Great coffee, excellent customer service, but I bought a breakfast sandwich and after it was made and delivered, they said they were out of one of the ingredients. Very disappointed and the sandwich was dry.

Wonderful cupcakes, but don't use their delivery service. You also can't get cupcakes before 1pm which isn't noted on their website. They also close at 4pm, which their website also notes is 7pm. If you catch at Union Market or at this location, great.

Souk! I love it here! This cozy little coffee shop/bakery/spice shop on barracks row has the friendliest staff and the best kouign-amanns. The combination of a spice shop with a bakery means that all of the pastries have unique and delicious flavors, and the beverages are great. There's no indoor seating, but the shop has a few outdoor tables and a canopy, so visitors can sit outside in the shade. I particularly enjoy doing some remote work here :)

Great Shop, make sure you check the hours as they are a bit unconventional. The pistachio kran man is amazing!!
