World class service. The young woman at the cashier was super nice! I had the tenders and they were amazing!

Amazing food. It always slaps. Like slap ya mama type. The candied yams were mid though I can't lie. Definetly have to try the quesadillas. Their portioning goes crazy too. Follow them on their instagram for good deals. Their juice is entirely too sweet but I don't mind because I go home and dilute it with water. I often wait 10-20 minutes for food so don't expect a quick bite to eat. Overall 10/10 I always come back to soul wings.

The food is OK and I'm saying that cuz for their prices one can't really expect amazing soul food. But ignoring the taste of food which is often flavorless they aren't consistent with their hours, I work nearby and never walk over because I've walked over 7 time on 7 different days not in the same wk and they weren't open and should have been. I know how to cook and have lived in the DMV all my life I'm a Bowie Alumni and know Good food in the DMV is always a hit or miss, but I'm not gonna keep wasting my 30 minute lunch breaks on possibly eating! As a black DC business owner myself this is disheartening

My daughter raved about this restaurant so we visited while in DC. Upon entering it was unbearably hot. They had a fan going but it was simply circulating hot air.We placed our order and thank goodness we had cash because they weren't accepting cards for payment due to a system issue. That was quite inconvenient and would've been good to know prior to ordering. The food itself was hot and fresh. Our order was also accurate. It's a little "hole in the wall" place which are most times the tastiest places to eat.The restaurant is very small and you only have enough room to order and wait outside for it to be fulfilled. Needless to say there's no seating or table service offered.Overall, it's a soul food restaurant with tasty menu items. It's moderately priced. I'd return with my daughter because as a Howard college student she loves them and I feel really good about supporting a black owned business. Hopefully you'll support them as well.

Had their food before at the Goodman League games last summer and the staff was friendly, organized, and the food was decent (burger was fresh off of the grill but the fries were cold) despite the large crowd. This location unfortunately was none of that. Wait was long despite nobody else in the restaurant. “Kool Aid” tasted like extremely watered down slushee/snow cone syrup. Yams were canned and watery. Mac and cheese tasted like ramen noodles, lacked cheese, and were bland. Chicken was salty. Honestly made my stomach hurt after. This was the same staff but they were not as friendly as before. I hope things get better for this business especially as I was recommended by the owner of the piercing shop next door and I frequent him often.

Horrible customer service. Every time I’ve been to this place my wait has always been 30 mins or more for my takeout order. This time I decided to order one of their daily specials which they require you prepay for. I didn’t think it an issue because I figured at least the food would be ready when I get there. Order was placed after 5p with a pick up time of 7p. Get there at 6:55p and there’s a couple people ahead of me….cool no problem. By the time she finally gets to me, she asks my name and then to see my Apple Pay confirmation (they only take cashapp and Apple Pay for payment by the way). She then tells me I can have a seat and they’ll start working on my order…..FYM START!? What was the whole point of preordering if I still have to sit and wait!? So when I complain, she goes “You want your $9 back?” Yup bih you damn right I do….run it! Sis thought she was being cute while I politely took my coin and gave it to the Chinese restaurant next door…..and got more for LESS. Then people wonder why black businesses don’t get the support they desire. On top of that the food is MID at best. Them prices, small portions and lack of seasoning are not in alignment. TUH

Do yourself a favor and skip this place. The sides have absolutely no flavor. Mac and cheese tastes like noodles with melted shredded cheese (no seasonings) and the sweet potatoes tasted like baby food. Puréed mess with absolutely no taste. We took a bite when we got in the car and immediately threw it away. I’m not sure who was cooking and thought that was okay to serve. Owner seems to have a bad attitude also by the looks of these reviews. Save your money!!! :)

They’re literally never open, I’ve only been able to go here once as they’re always closed. I came here after getting off work expecting to get something to eat late night around 12 and they claim to close at 2am. Doors was locked they were already cleaning when I arrived. The food was good when I was able to go but that’s been one time out of the many I’ve attempted.
