Went there today and all the staff had great customer service!!! ❤️❤️❤️ it was great seeing young blk kids working hard! Order was correct wait wasn’t long at all! I enjoyed my snack!!
I’ve been working my way through the Washingtonian’s list of ice cream spots in the city and got to this one. There was nothing wrong with it per se but also nothing exceptional. It was expensive for what it was and my root beer float was made with soft serve and not hand dipped ice cream which means it just turned into a creamy mess. (Some may like that hence the detail!) I ended up throwing half of it away. I used to work at the wharf and I see why I never made it here....
My initial impression wasn’t the best. I walked up to the ordering window and some older gentleman was pretty rude when he was telling me that whoever was at the counter wasn’t there and I had to wait. I wanted maybe 8-10 minutes for them to return. When I finally was ordering the young lady could it seem any less interesting in helping me. After ordering a cheese burger and Lavender Lemonade for my wife my total came out to $16.50. Here is where things take a turn again,...
