The young lady that answered the phone when I called was helpful as I explained this is my first time patronizing this business. The service was excellent. I ordered curry goat, it’s spicy and delicious. They give you a lot of food for your money. The coco bread was soft and the plantain was sweet and soft just the way I like it. I can’t rate the mac and cheese because I’m partial to my own lol. I highly recommend this restaurant. I’m picky and the restaurant was CLEAN! If I had to complain about anything it would be that they didn’t have any diet soda’s but that definitely isn’t a deal breaker for me. I’ll be back next week.
Parking: I arrived at 5pm and I had an option of 3 spaces. It’s on a one way street but it was also plenty of spaces on Georgia ave as well. Don’t let your fear of finding somewhere to park stop you from trying this delicious food.

I give the food a 7.8/10. I ordered brown stew chicken and though the flavors were pretty good it was definitely not authentic Jamaican style. Rice and peas had a great taste but the execution of the dish could have been better, it seemed a little overcooked. My mom had the jerk chicken, and it was very tender but lacked spice. The best part was the chicken patty with coco bread. It tasted so fresh and not too buttery (I give the patty w/bread a 9.5 by itself). Service wasn't the most welcoming but I didnt get a rude interaction as mentioned in previous comments. Overall, I would say give it a try. But I'm sure there are other places that have better food.

Ordered through Grubhub I did pay for extra brown stew chicken . It wasn’t even a regular serving also lots of tiny bones which seems as if when the chicken was cut they didn’t washed it I wasn’t able to give it to my child due to the unusual small bones. But had a good flavor
Best Jamaican food hands down. Very authentic like grandma cooked it. If you’re looking for real Jamaican food, this is the place.

My fiancé and I went here today and we both had the oxtail meal. It was so good and flavorful and big portions! This will be our new go to spot when we want Caribbean food ?

Update: I have been eating here for over 4 yrs & I'm not sure what changed but the flavor is not the same & the chicken I got tasted and looked old. Every since the remodel I don't know what happen. I'm very disappointed, now I have to search for another good Caribbean spot after it took years to find this one. PS why does the brown stew chicken taste sweet now & the rice and beans be hard like there old??

I stopped here for lunch today. I was WOWED with how clean the outside was and WOWED again with a very warm welcome from the gentleman and lady that was serving and cashing out. I was coming from a 1 hour drive and needed to use the restroom. The restroom was the cleanest restroom I have ever used at a Jamaican restaurant located in America. Everything was going well until I disappointed myself by only being able to eat one meal. I had a mixed lunch (fried chicken and curry goat). The curry goat was seasoned to the bone and very soft. I usually don't eat chicken breast/ white meat, but that's all they had left, so I took a chance and never had any regrets. The chicken was soft, well fried, seasoned, and juicy. Don't think I need to say much more. The evidence is in the picture showing what was left of my meal.

Sounds like Thomas or Abel. I mean, he did the same thing in Berlin 2020... snooping around. Invasion of privacy.
