Horrible customer service. Go somewhere else there is too many eateries for these people to be acting the way they do.

I don’t know who is cooking in the back but this is absolutely unacceptable!!! Several other reviews have made mention of this very thing, some dating back 3+ years ago. And you STILL haven’t gotten it right. It is dangerous and careless of you to sell uncooked meat to customers. I mean, it’s practically RAW.
If you don’t know how to properly cook meat, then take it off the menu. Before someone gets seriously ill or you’re reported to the health department.
Tasty food. Generous servings. Fair price.

I have been coming here for awhile after searching for some good carribean food. I must admit that that curry chicken and spicy beef patties are delicious. The jerk chicken to me is awful after trying it 2 times. This is all I have tasted. Even though it is small inside it is nice and clean. I often thought about dining in. However that stank attitude that the female owner has is terrible. She always act mad and take it out on her customers. Maybe if you didn't act so funky you could keep some workers and don't always have to be trying to run the whole store. She is the worst. All I want to do is get my food and get out of there before I caught that stank attitude too. I'am just coming to get some food, that's all! She went up on the prices but give you the same portion. How is this even possible. Giving me mostly bones with no meat and get mad when you ask for carrots and potatoes. Make that make sense. Some people take their customers for granted until they don't have none. I hope to find someone else to go soon so I don't have to put up with this miserable person every time I come in there often and she never smiles. If you don't want to deal with people, you should just close down!!! People want good food with good service! If I could give a zero I would have!

I was just lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time!!!.. Hands and toes 👇...ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS 😋
Whatever you do, don’t order online from DoorDash or Uber. Better to walk in and get your order. They never put the xtra sauce for you even when requested. Nobody wants to spend all that money eating dry food!

The young lady that answered the phone when I called was helpful as I explained this is my first time patronizing this business. The service was excellent. I ordered curry goat, it’s spicy and delicious. They give you a lot of food for your money. The coco bread was soft and the plantain was sweet and soft just the way I like it. I can’t rate the mac and cheese because I’m partial to my own lol. I highly recommend this restaurant. I’m picky and the restaurant was CLEAN! If I had to complain about anything it would be that they didn’t have any diet soda’s but that definitely isn’t a deal breaker for me. I’ll be back next week.
Parking: I arrived at 5pm and I had an option of 3 spaces. It’s on a one way street but it was also plenty of spaces on Georgia ave as well. Don’t let your fear of finding somewhere to park stop you from trying this delicious food.

I give the food a 7.8/10. I ordered brown stew chicken and though the flavors were pretty good it was definitely not authentic Jamaican style. Rice and peas had a great taste but the execution of the dish could have been better, it seemed a little overcooked. My mom had the jerk chicken, and it was very tender but lacked spice. The best part was the chicken patty with coco bread. It tasted so fresh and not too buttery (I give the patty w/bread a 9.5 by itself). Service wasn't the most welcoming but I didnt get a rude interaction as mentioned in previous comments. Overall, I would say give it a try. But I'm sure there are other places that have better food.
