The BahuBali burger with paneer is the best Indian-style sandwich I have ever had. The bread was phenomenal!

I ordered take away for Rawa masala dosa and idli. I was excited and also ordered extra sambar but everything was so sweet in taste . Sambar is supposed to have sour flavour instead of sweet . It was too sweet , even the filling in raw dosa was sweet in taste . Don’t recommend it all if you are looking for taste close to home .

Great spot for great food. Don’t order the pizzas or bowls, get a dosa or uttapam or Vada pav. Great for cheap, fast, good Indian

No.1 in Washington.
the most Delicious meal I ever ate since I arrived USA
Edit: gave us the wrong order and wouldn't do anything to help remedy the situation. Wouldn't give us a new order or refund the purchase.

We recently visited spice 6 restaurant and really enjoyed the food — it’s one of the better Indian places we’ve tried in Washington DC. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by an unsettling incident.
While we were dining with our newborn, a homeless person entered the restaurant, asked for food, and after being refused, picked up our tray of food and threw it on the ground. What concerned us most was that the restaurant staff did not make any effort to remove the person or ensure the safety and comfort of the other guests, despite the disturbance.
We understand that these situations can be sensitive and challenging, but as paying customers — especially with a small child — we expected the staff to handle it more proactively.
We hope the management considers better measures to handle such situations in the future, as the food itself is worth returning for, but feeling safe and comfortable while dining is equally important.

Moderately priced and with generous servings, the dosas here yummy as was the mixed chaat. CYOB to use their tap. Wish they would add hing to their sambar.

Pathetic and I mean it totally. This place is known for vegan eats so I ordered a tofu bowl but they gave a chicken bowl even after specifically mentioning in order notes that we wanted it vegan. Dosa was very bad, naan wrap was more like stone wrap, so hard. This place doesn't represent Indian cuisine.
