Great casual dining option - we were cycling on the nearby Northwest Branch Trail and stopped in for some very delicious wings, jollof rice, fried plantains, and a small side of stew. The stew especially brought back memories of when I lived in Guinea long ago - true West African spices. One order was a generous enough portion for 2 of us, as the food is delicious but fried wings and plantains are a bit heavy. Definitely powered the rest of our bike ride! We got there before they opened at noon and by the time we left, the place was packed with people.

Great tasting food. Always spiced to perfection. Great portion sizes. On the weekends I find the food is made better than weekdays. I have been back several times. Love that they include side orders in the platter as well. Decent price.

The food was excellent—full of flavor with just the right spice level. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but the generous portions made up for it. Overall, I’d definitely go back and recommend giving this place a try. The only downside was that not everything on the menu was available; I was really looking forward to trying the puff puff and meat pie. Hopefully, they’ll have them next time!

So I wanted to leave a review for the pop up location at R House in Baltimore. The honey wings were sooooo friggin delicious 😋. They ran out of jollof rice unfortunately, but they had a white rice with a stew that tasted really good. Plantains were good, just a little over charred for my liking. Will visit again to try other items. Reasonable prices too considering the economy. They were busy for a reason 💯

I ended up trying this restaurant instead of the one I had planned to visit at R House. Service is friendly, quick and easy; walk up, place your order and a few minutes wait.
Seeing as I’d never had suya before I tried the spicy wing plate along with spinach and jollof rice. Different taste but really good! Thanks guys!

I placed a pick-up order yesterday for a steak suya plate and wings. Fast forward to now twelve hours later, I am experiencing diarrhea that is straight water almost like a colon cleanse. I’ve never experienced this after eating a meal from a restaurant, and I’ve traveled all over the world. This lets me know that Spice Kitchen has very unsanitary practices in preparing and serving their food.

My plantains were not fresh when I picked up my order, so I asked for them to be replaced. I didn’t see the young lady at the front place on gloves before taking my plate back to the kitchen.

I’ve seen several other reviews about others being sick after eating their food, so please take heed when choosing to buy from this restaurant.

I strongly recommend not eating here. Avoid getting sick and find a restaurant that is consistent in cleanliness and fresh food.
