Terrible. The chicken wings were so dry and over seasoned and the lamb chops were not seasoned well. I will never visit this establishment again. I tried calling requesting a remake or refund however no one answered the phone. Waste of $60.00. Never again.

I’ve been waiting to visit this restaurant for so long and finally went with a friend last night. The food was delicious, almost as good as my mom’s (almost impossible bar to meet). But I have to deduct points because my meal and drink were hot/cold enough. The corn and wings were finger licking good, and fingers were licked!

Come on guys!!! I’ve been supporting you since 2021! The last two/three times I’ve ordered take-out, the food was not fresh. Jollof rice also has a very strange taste this go round. Like I expect for my food to be made fresh to order! Nobody wants to eat day old food or food from the night before, especially at this price point. Now I have to throw this mess of a plate in the trash. This is absolutely unacceptable!

I’m never ordering from here again - FULL STOP AS OF TODAY. Since you prefer to recycle old food, and don’t have the decency to open the store and prepare fresh batches of food for your customers. You should be ashamed.

I absolutely love this restaurant. First the interior design is stunning and beautiful. They understand the vision that a great restaurant doesn't just serve great food but provides the whole experience. I also loved being able to order at the kiosk. My order was ready in no time and the staff was very friendly. The salmon and shrimp platter were AMAZING. Honestly one of the best West African restaurants here in the DMV. I got soooo much salmon and succulent shrimp I couldn’t finish in one sitting. The price was pretty good given how salmon is so expensive especially compared to pther restaurants. The sauces made everything perfect. I live far away from this restaurant so coming here was a treat; I would be coming here multiple times a week if it was close by which probably wouldn't be too good on the waistline Will definitely make a trip to come back again!

Updating my review from 5 to 3 stars as of July 2025 - I’ve been 2 more times since my initial review and each time the food has been soooo oily. My jollof was sitting in oil. Pictures as proof. I’m disappointed

Food was absolutely delicious! Legitimate smoky jollof and soft beef suya with half salmon. I like that I could do half and half of the proteins. Most West African restaurants in the area disappoint but this place exceeded my expectations. Flavors were nicely balanced no excessive maggi or salt.

The food is actually good. The problem is when you order through one of the app apps for delivery your condiments are never there. It makes it especially bad when you have to pay for them. I’ve ordered multiple times to GrubHub And ordered ranch dressing And it’s never in the bag.

Came here for the first time with my daughter and WOW!!!! From the decor of the restaurant to Aprils customer service…. We left there feeling like we had a new friend/family member…..i ordered the wing platter with jollaf rice and corn - my daughter ordered the steak platter with spinach and rice… She had so much steak that she asked me to take some home with me🤩 the food was sooooooo bomb! Now I will have to bring my hubby back so he can experience this for himself! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend ❤️
