Last night my friends and I gathered to celebrate a friend’s birthday and were unnecessarily kicked out of the establishment! One member of the party accidentally dropped and broke an unopened bottle of alcohol. They claimed that because it was an outside bottle we weren’t following policy so we had to be removed, yet it was a gift that was given to the birthday person when she was there!!! Not to mention the only reason the bottle broke is because we were asked to leave our table for the next party, but there was literally NOWHERE for us to move to/sit so we were standing in the middle of the floor with all our food and drinks we had to move from our table.. Shoutout to our waitress (I forgot her name) who was very kind and understanding; that is the only reason they received another star!
It was great after we asked they turn down the music

SPIN DC is such a fun spot! The atmosphere is vibrant, with great music and a lively crowd, making it perfect for a night out with friends or even a casual date. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring everything runs smoothly—even when the place is packed.
The ping pong tables are well-maintained, and there's plenty of space to move around. They also have a fantastic selection of drinks and snacks to keep you fueled for all the action.
I particularly appreciated how they cater to all skill levels, so whether you're a ping pong pro or just looking for some casual fun, you'll have a great time. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in DC!

SPIN reminds me of old school pool halls, but for a younger, more active generation. I only stopped in for a quick bite to eat because they were one of the few places open late. The food was the best food I had in DC. The place gave off a friendly welcoming vibe. Come for the ping pong, stay for the food and drink (or vice versa).

It’s loud inside. Recommend you get here for happy hour cause the food is great! Definitely recommend the tater tot with short ribs. The portion is HUGE! 2 or 3 people can eat it.
They have plenty of ping pong tables, but I think you need to reserve it ahead of time especially Friday-Sunday and after 5pm.

They let you wait for hours for a table tennis table although it is free… most stupid stuff. Waitress not nice.

I had an amazing time at SPIN Washington DC! The atmosphere was electric, and the tables were in perfect condition. The friendly competition made the experience even more fun, and I was thrilled to make it to the semi-finals. The staff were incredibly supportive, and the energy in the place kept me going. Highly recommend for both pros and casual players!

I visited for a company group rental, and the professional players were top-notch.

We had 2 pong tables reserved and they gave one of them away because we showed up 7 minutes late. The drink I ordered was HORRIBLE. It was supposed to be gin and lavender (which I get from other places all the time), it was smokey for some reason and just disgusting. It was also $16, I know drinks in this city are expensive but if you’re going to charge that much at least learn how to make a good one. Than to top it all off, the manager came up to our group and cut off our friend who hadn’t done anything to warrant this, he wasn’t drunk and didn’t even try to order a drink. He had a glass of water. The manager was very rude and refused to give an explanation for this, than threatened to kick us out for asking. We left and had a great night at a different bar, not before having to chase down 3 different bartenders to try to pay our tabs though. This place is just a disaster.
