Such an amazing experience at Sports and Social in Washington DC! We had the nachos, milkshakes, and drinks and they were outstanding. The servers were so kind and attentive, as well as the managers. It was a great time and would 100% recommend to come here!

I came here to watch the March Madness games and of course It was packed! I was able to snag 2 seats at the bar after 15 min. The bartender who tended to us first was Shaun. I didn't like the attitude she gave me when I asked her a question. The sarcastic tone and what she said threw me off and I almost called her out of her name. She fixed our first drinks which were bad. Also, she never asked if I was ok or needed anything but she continually checked on the guy who I came with. We ended up talking to the other bartender on duty and she was pleasant, very helpful and her drinks were way better. The food was subpar. I didn't really expect much from a sports bar. The flatbread was sweet like they drizzled honey or something on It. The garlic wings were pretty decent. I ordered a whiskey sidecar which was great from the second bartender. The ambiance is chill. You can go with a group of friends and just vibe out on a regular day.

Absolutely crazy that they’re trying to make themselves a sports bar and they can’t afford to have HD video on their TVs. They’ve obviously got streaming services instead of cable and their internet isn’t very good. How can you expect people to pay money to watch sports at a lower resolution than you can get at home?

Really disappointed in a place called sports and social, that advertised itself as a sports bar and has a sports book, blasting dance music and keeping the lights low on a Friday afternoon DURING March madness. Had high hopes for this place so a friend and I went around 3pm on a Friday to catch all the basketball games, and spent 2 hours having our ear drums blasted away and having the slowest service ever. And they did a poor job of switching TV's as one TV just had local news on so we watched the end of a game on our phone.

Reviewing Underground Pizza DC which is a ghost kitchen concept operating out of Sports & Social. They do not have a separate google maps listing for the DC location.Expectation did not meet reality. I was excited to try this place after seeing some very enticing facebook ads when they soft launched. I've been wanting to order for weeks, but they aren't open Mon-Wed which is actually usually when I want pizza... Finally lined up a Sunday night to try it. I grew up on Detroit pizza (from Jet's, which we also just got in Alexandria) so I wanted to love this. The product was unfortunately disappointing.First off the mozzarella sticks. They looked SO beautiful in the pictures... with that crispy crust. The reality was some very loose breading for what was ultimately a totally average mozzarella stick. No "epic cheese pull" either, which I don't care about, and may have been because it took me 30 minutes to get this home, I don't live that close. I do have a pizza bag, and the order was also packaged really nicely in a sealed paper bag.Next the pizza... it was just okay. Beautiful presentation, looks like the pictures. But I think this place is not getting orders right now (it's hard to find, not linked on the website). My crust tasted very yeasty, probably overproofed from sitting there all day waiting for orders. Seems like it's baked in oil, not butter, so it does not have the right crisp I expect from Detroit style. It was tough to bite through.Service picking up the order wasn't great. Sport & Social had a sign saying "please wait to be seated" but no one came for me. One bartender was very busy, two other people behind the bar weren't doing anything. And the person who's sole job seems to be handing out Underground Pizza orders was tucked in the back. All in all... not worth the $42 I spent. It might improve if business picks up, but I don't think I want to chance it again.

We popped in for drinks here and were sat at a table where it took almost an hour to get drinks served. There were 6 of us that ordered at the same time, they brought out 2 drinks after 30 minutes, and the remaining 4 another 20 minutes later. The staff was completely unbothered and did not offer a discount or refund or apologize. The manager was chit chatting with other staff instead of helping behind the bar. Would not recommend, 0 out of 10.

Stopped by here on a Sunday night, I highly recommend!! Service was great, food was delicious, and they had a ton of games on TV. Got the pretzel, bay fries, and cauliflower wings, nothing disappointed! It's a good vibe for a casual hangout. Would def come back!

I came here for a friends birthday party and had a great time. We got our own section in the rear of the restaurant, with our own bar/bartender. The loaded us down with Sliders, Nachos, Wings, Etc... This is a great spot on U St to come catch a game or hang out with a group. I wasn't to familiar with it prior to coming, but by the time we left I was definitely impressed with well the evening went. We had a pretty good amount of people, but to my knowledge there was not one hiccup. Make sure to come check em out!

My server Emily was horribly rude and snappy and rushing me whenever I asked questions about anything . If it wasn’t for Edith and Kae I wouldn’t recommend this place at all which sucks because the food is actually really good for a sports bar but they need to hire better servers .

First visit to Sports & Social DC (or any for that matter) and was so impressed! This restaurant is beautiful and a delight for a DC native and sports fan like myself. Friendly bartender and staff. Everything was delicious! The blackberry margarita was flavorful and well balanced. I shared the boneless wings, fries, spicy tuna bites, and cookie skillet. Everything was cooked great, right temperature. The tuna was the standout though - like deconstructed sushi but better with the crispy rice. Definitely going to check out the Bethesda location and go back to watch a game!
