St. Anselm offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere with delicious brunch and dinner options. The outdoor seating area is a highlight, perfect for enjoying meals like buttermilk biscuits and steak and eggs. Dinner features a variety of steaks at reasonable prices, with sides available for an additional cost. The service is attentive and friendly, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The axe handle steak is an incredible cut of meat, cooked to a perfect rare with a flavorful crust. The biscuits are highly recommended and considered a must-try, especially when paired with pimento cheese. Oysters are always perfectly prepared, and the selection of beer and wine complements the meal well. The menu also includes standout choices like salmon collar and cheeseburgers, which are juicy and cooked to perfection. Many guests appreciate the relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff, making it a great place for both brunch and dinner. Outdoor dining is often praised, especially for its nice presentation and imaginative use of vegetables, such as the tender grilled okra and pickled cherry tomatoes. Overall, St. Anselm is a comfortable spot for a tasty dining experience, whether for brunch or dinner, with options that satisfy a variety of tastes.
