My doughnut was still in the plastic. I asked them to warm it …and was advised the manager said “No” . I don’t want a cold hard doughnut .

Convenient location for those staying at the hotel or nearby, but plan on standing in line for 20-30 minutes waiting for your order. Employees at this location don't seem to care much about efficiency or the timely service Starbucks stands for.

Perhaps this location does better on a normal day but if there is a large convention in town, I highly suggest finding a different location. They close at 4pm and I got in line right before 3pm. There were only 3 baristas at the time and one apparently up and left at 3pm leaving one person on the register/hot orders and one to make the beverages. They were running out of items left and right. After a 35 minute wait, I finally managed to get to place my order. They didn't have iced tea and I guess no body on staff to make more. They said they were out of Frappuccino base and I think they just didn't want to take the time to make one. Neither lady seemed to care about the service and the barista moved at a snail's pace. Slower actually.I decided to just cancel my order and leave. I walked across the street to the location in the Renaissance, and via mobile order (which this location does not have), I was able to get my drinks in the 5 minute walk there. What a difference, and that staff seemed to care!Do yourself a favor and don't use this location unless your first in line.

This Starbucks was unable to take gift cards or give reward stars, despite being listed on the app. I was very disappointed.

From check in to check out- this was the absolute worst Marriott experience I’ve ever encountered. First- the girl that checked me in claimed I was using a “government” code when in fact I was not. I was simply using my company code. She did not understand this and tried to increase my rate by $200. When I asked to speak to the manager- she claimed she was unable to speak to me. Meanwhile- she was literally standing in the corner watching all of this unfold. After 28 minutes, the manager finally came over and read a statement about “government rates”. However- it took her more time to realize that is not what rate I booked it on. She finally accommodated me and then gave me instructions to the wrong elevator. After I called down when I finally got to my room to express how upset I was- a manager apologized and said she would put 20k Marriott points into my account. I thought this was a nice gesture. It’s been 3 weeks and I still don’t have the points credited. The next day- I asked for late check out by just one hour. They could not accommodate this saying the room was booked and they needed to clean it. Here’s the best part- and you can’t make this up- the person who checked into my room was an acquaintance of mine- and he didn’t check in until 7pm..and yet they could not let me check out at 1pm. I’m a Marriott lifetime titanium elite member and I am loyal to that brand. This experience makes me rethink my loyalty. The next night I stayed at the Renaissance across the street and they were extremely pleasant and actually treated me like a valued customer.

Stayed one night on a layover to allow me to explore DC, good location, nice room, overall a decent hotel at a reasonable price (For DC) Exec Lounge was good for both evening drinks and Breakfast. Overall very nice hotel

Marriot hotels are always good places to stay. Being members we booked the Washington DC property for a night. The hotel is pet friendly and we had our dog accompany us. Check in was smooth, as were bell boy services to get in bags. Rooms are well appointed with coffee maker and supplements. Members lounge offers refreshments morning and evening. There is a Starbucks outlet on board which we used. Valet parking is recommended if you have your own car. The hotel is 15 minutes away from The White House - Lincoln memorial- Victory Tower- War memorial etc. The staff is courteous and attentive. Security people are watchful for guest safety. Worth to stay here if you come to DC.
