the food is good, there was one barista that didn’t really act well in a work environment. she used words that shouldn’t be used in a work setting, and she had trouble working with taking orders. overall the food is good.
The staff is rude and the service is slow. Go to another location if possible.

I don't think they even know what an espresso is in this store, they give you regular coffee and they don't even know their own menu. Nor trust them to give you decaffeinated coffee because of the way they serve you as if they don't care. Intolerances and allergies are serious, they can make someone seriously ill or they could even die.

This Starbucks does not play by the rules. They charge extra for things such as cream that other Starbucks do. It closes at random times in the day for 20+ minutes. They didn’t participate in the red cup event. They don’t let you scan for stars unless you pay with a gift card. Definitely Safeway’s fault for not complying but it feels like they just shouldn’t be a Starbucks at all. Some employees are nice but some are so rude. I used to go all the time but after too many bad experiences I had to find a new location. I guess that’s a lesson on stores within stores. Hopefully they clean up their act.

The employees take their sweet sweet time here, someone from mgmt needs to look after them on the regular even though they’re adults.
The staff are fantastic and get the coffee made quick. So why only four stars, because you can only order the large size drinks.
I wanted the medium one but they only have the biggest. It’s not the staff’s fault, it’s Starbucks corporate. If the staff wasn’t awesome it would have been three stars.
Everything was clean, the people are friendly and my drink was made fast.

I have a special mixture for my drink, so I was little apprehensive being my first time at this location. It’s inside Safeway so not the best atmosphere and convenience to dine in. Service was great and my DRINK was spot on! I also ordered a breakfast sandwich that turned out a little burnt around the edges but it was just as delicious. Didn’t know I liked the crunch of it all…perfect bite til the end.?

The worst Starbucks I have ever been to. If you order online, you won’t see when your order is ready; you have to go back and forth to check. The quality of the Matcha tea is terrible — definitely less Matcha powder than usual, and no foam at all. If you’ve had Matcha tea before, you know the taste of the tea at the bottom without any foam. Well, that’s how the entire drink is here. The atmosphere is not typical for Starbucks; it's better to grab your drink and go rather than stay. I advise skipping this Starbucks and trying the next one closer to the White House.

They never have the food I want,it’s an attachment to the SAFEWAY., the attitudes that they carry a horrible as well as the service. I’ve been living in the building for at little over two years and only got one drink there that was done right. So I just stop going. Not much of a atmosphere bcuz there are Bums that hangs around the front area of the store which is where the Starbucks is so I can never sit and have a drink and feel comfortable at the same time.

This Starbucks is an embarrassment, avoid at all costs. Travel to the next nearest location if you wish to have your order made correctly and/or professionally. The professionalism is inconsistent here at best, as some of the staff are at least friendly, while other employees are downright rude. However, regardless of who is behind the counter my order has almost never been made correctly. Not sure if these employees were ever trained or they just don’t care, but they often seem to struggle to serve a small line of a couple people, but many times they’re overrun with much more. It could be because one person is usually by themselves, but even when they have help they often get confused as to which order is being worked, second guessing each other and themselves which prolongs the wait times. I suspect some of this is because they never take a name for the order like every other Starbucks location. I live down the street and have often rolled the dice when ordering here out of the convenience of the location, but not any more. I would rather go anywhere else for coffee than here. Same goes for the Safeway it’s located in, equally terrible when it comes to customer service.
