Was staying down the street and used this Starbucks (Columbia road/18th ST in NW DC) for 6 days. Arrived very early each day - they open at 5 am.
Staff in general was friendly and efficient, the food and beverages were all good. Lots of seating including 4 very comfy chairs around a coffee table near the window. Clean bathrooms and store. Good music played.
Could not ask for anything more from a Starbucks.

This Starbucks has friendly staff and a friendly atmosphere, and they are quick! I would like to shout out the two staff members working around 4pm on July 10th; they made sure everyone felt welcome and were patient.

I like this location because of convenience. However I'm surprised to read they kick people out for not ordering. I often see an odd lady often sitting on a table with a blue table cover. She seems to bring her questionable cliental there too or something. Not good seeing customers notice her getting loud and sometimes fowl mouthed.

Your average Starbucks but there’s a woman named Mary who works here who is exceptional.
Everyone got a “Welcome in”, she checked in to make sure drinks were well made, she monitored wait times, and was beyond friendly.

Got kicked out after a little bit because I didn’t order anything. Fair enough. Took a look around - place is half empty and there are other people who were there that didn’t order anything, but weren’t being kicked out. Wow, maybe not that fair.

I got a grande iced cherry chai and tomato mozzarella panini and she told me the total was $16 and some change, I gave her a 20 and she gave me back like .40 cents 💀 she kept the bills for a tip I guess but she could have just asked 😂
Ordered a cappuccino and Americano. Neither had any flavor. One tasted like hot milk and other like hot dirty water. This used to be a staple of Starbucks - same taste everywhere. No longer the case.
Response to Starbucks: The problem wasn't a bad barista, it was bad coffee. The barista cant do anything about that.
