Starbucks

I'm not a Starbucks fan but wanted a coffee in the area and thought Starbucks is pretty reliable. Big mistake. Service was awful. I ordered a muffin and hot coffee and I received a warm muffin (not requested) and a hot chocolate, after 20 minutes of waiting. The barista did switch the drink for a coffee quickly though. Then, the bathroom sink was blocked, and the bathroom itself was filthy. Not a good experience in any way, except that I was able to charge my phone!

I realize it was busy this weekend but it was dirtiest Starbucks. Trash everywhere, food on floor behind counter. Really out of control.

my girl at the counter put in everyone's drinks as Hot on an 80° day. the poor barista had to deal with everyone saying their drinks were wrong. personally, I ended up with a cup of lukewarm milk and ended up just walking to another Starbucks lol.

I have been coming to this Starbucks regularly because I work right next door, and I have never experienced such consistently poor customer service. The level of unprofessionalism, the street talk, and the attitude from the staff are shocking.

Even when I try to avoid direct interaction by placing mobile orders, the experience remains the same. Today, I encountered an almost hostile situation simply because I requested my drink to be remade after receiving the wrong milk—something I had paid for. I wasn’t asking for a free drink, just the correct one. Even the manager displayed an attitude instead of resolving the issue professionally.

Now, I even feel uncomfortable and worried every time I go in, wondering if my drink will be deliberately made incorrectly because of past interactions. No customer should have to feel this way.

This location is in desperate need of better management. The service here is unacceptable and truly disappointing.

My sister and I came out of town to visit the Artechouse across the street yesterday and decided to stop by this Starbucks in the morning for breakfast! We got 2 iced lavender oat milk lattes, 1 cheese and tomato sandwich, and spinach egg feta wrap. Not only was the cashier super nice, but I was impressed by quick and efficient the team was moving to handle the morning rush. One of them handed the drinks directly to every person!

Also, big shoutout and kudos to the one of the baristas, Marv who also helped jumpstart our car outside of the Starbucks. It was cold, rainy, and we were super stressed but Marv helped us with her own jumper cables and her own car. Thank you so much!!

Staff are incredibly rude at this location.

Never fails to disappoint. Haven't been in quite some time, but I forgot my coffee this morning. Against my better judgment I decided to run to Starbucks. And just like old times, my order was one wrong and two not so great. 😔

Choosing to type out a sign where your store hours go, telling customers to scan a QR code or look online instead of just having store hours is so disgustingly dystopian. Of course the coffee is crappy, but that's unsurprising.

Not sure if it was due to selecting the lower tipping option or just poor manners from the staff.
The shop is literally empty, I took a seat and they didn’t even tell me that my coffee was ready. I realized myself after 5-10 min it was waiting at the end of the counter while the staff was all the time on their phone.

Nice oasis after a long walk sightseeing DC, nice staff, enjoyed refreshments and an impossible sandwich. Two spacious restrooms that were very clean.

Probably the rudest behaviour from staff in a Starbucks that I’ve ever very had the displeasure of experiencing. Quite incredible!
