Super friendly and helpful people behind the counter. Great coffee (Flat White with one shot of Vanilla) and my favorite breakfast…. Sausage, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich… Mmmm!!! I ate inside. Very clean. The front area outside the store was under construction, but the signs on how to get in were very easy to follow. I highly recommend this Starbucks. Especially because it was directly across the street from the Salamander Hotel where I was staying!

I ordered a pastry and a grande mocha and was told the bill was $10.45 and paid with my pay, no tip, but I later saw my bill on my credit card as $15.45. I questioned the person who got my order and he said I would have chosen a $5 tip then paid with my pay…. Beware and check your total after using my pay on your iPhone because staff may be entering a tip unbeknownst to you! Most people cannot afford to give a $5 tip at Starbucks!!!

Best Starbucks ever! We kept coming back to this one each day we were in DC. On a whim we tried another and nope, not near as good as this one. The baristas are FANTASTIC!!! when we come back this will definitely be our go to.

I wish I could give this a minus-5 score. I had sandwiches and coffee at this Starbucks in June 2023 with two colleagues. We were rushing to get to another appointment and I left my computer bag on the floor next to my chair. When we got back a couple of hours later and asked if anyone had seen it they asked my name and immediately produced the bag. All the zippers were open and they had obviously gone through it, seeing my license and credit card and knew my name. Unfortunately I had chosen that day to put my wallet in the bag. All the cash, about $200, was gone although the credit cards were still there.It seems very unlikely that another customer would have rifled through the bag in front of everyone and then turned it in. This seems pretty much certain to have been one of the staff at Starbucks. I spoke to the manager, Mar Copeland, about it. She promised to follow up with the staff who had been there . I never heard back.I also called the national customer service line for Starbucks. They took all the information and promised I would hear back within 48 hours. It's been over a month and I haven't heard back from them either. This from an organization that has built its reputation of being customer focused. It's completely consistent that most of the reviews here are 1/5. The fact that Starbucks tolerates this level of poor performance at one of their stores means they probably tolerate it elsewhere, too. I this is a sign of a once great franchise in decline.

The service used to be awesome when it was a gentleman making drinks heck after two trips he even learned my name. The last couple times it has been a lady with long hair making drinks. She looks like she doesn't want to be there and if you order ahead she will do anyone who orders at the registers order ahead of yours. My shortest wait time when ordering ahead and having her as the barista has been 16 minutes but I see people walk in order at the register and walk out.

Came here at 3:50pm on Saturday to learn that they unexpectedly decided to close the store at 4pm and everyone was asked to leave.Also, drinks are horrible here.

We visited this location during memorial day weekend on 5/28. It took almost 45 minutes to get the order and 2 out of 3 were wrong. There we 3 people there but only one person making order. The manager was sitting inside and the cashier was very rude and not helping.Horrible experience and missed the attraction viewing time. Starbucks executives ... Please review the footage of the 5/28 between 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and you will see why you lost a customer for good.
