The Team doesn't make my order after 30 minutes š and bad service.

What a joy it was walking into this Starbucks! Bree gave me the best advice in ordering the iced matcha with strawberry cold foam. The barista made the drink perfectly. All of the staff was warm and welcoming!

Order your coffee 45 minutes in advance. Employees need to talk instead of making drinks. Also, know that your drink will most likely be missing ingredients + espresso and wonāt taste good. I hate it here. This is one of the worst starbucks in the dc area. Avoid this location if you can and head over to H street signing store. Thank me later!!!!

Placed a mobile order for 2 items. One was ready (took couple extra minutes vs app time but fine) the 2nd item was a black coffeeā¦.i waited, I asked about it after a few minutes, said itās coming. I waited another few minutes asked again told itās coming. Asked againā¦.told I have to go to the front (where walk in would order)ā¦..???ok, I order often and never have I picked up a mobile order at register. I get there and tell them my train is going to board, the worker looks at me like Iām nuts, puts a cup under the hot coffee and walks away. I was able to go back on the app and get my tip backā¦.it was a comedy of errors, one employee worse than the next. Thank goodness Iām not here oftenā¦.

service is terrible. went up to the guy calling out Mobil orders and told him i was Just missing a birthday cake pop and he said it was coming, after my order already being said it was ready. Then, i wait 10 minutes until i speak up again to someone in the front. Pretty pissed cause i waited 20 minutes in total for a order i preordered. Donāt come here if you want attentative service.

People working here look miserable.
I say āgood morningā and Iām just met with a blank stare, no response.
I ask if I can order a specific beverage which Iāve never created before and they just stare back blank at me and I ask again ācan I do that, Iāve never ordered it like that beforeā.
Then I finish my order by saying āthatās itā and they just turn around, I donāt know that the order went through, I donāt know that I can scan my app. So rude and terrible customer service.

Whoever runs this place, whoever does the hiring- needs a raise. Never in my life have I entered an establishment on a Monday morning and been greeted with so much warmth, love and joy. I didnāt even get anything. I had a meeting across the street and had some time to burn beforehand so I went in to get some work done. Every single employee was kind, welcoming and just full of so much joy on a Monday morning! It was actually quite refreshing and needs to highlighted. The world sucks so much right now, but everyone who was in that building from 7:45- 8:30 on Monday 9/22/25- yall are light and love. Thank you. ā¤ļø

Order in person or online are the same, order by app today and I know have have to wait, thatās ok, the funny thing that from app it said ready and Iām so excited but still after 15mins later received a trashy drinks, so disappointed

I travel through Union Station at least once a wk. I travel for work but live in another state. I stopped by to try the new strawberry matcha frap on 8/21 at 4:20pm. There were just 3 ppl ahead of me. I waited nearly 20 mins but had to leave to catch a train. No associate tried to assist when I asked if I could cancel the drink. I called the manager and was told to contact Starbucks customer service. I was not able to receive a refund because I didn't use my app to pay for the drink. I wasnāt given a receipt. My bank record could not be used as proof. I am so disappointed to say this was by far my worst Starbucks experience. As a 25 year customer, I wonāt be stopping by this location ever again.
