Walked up when there was no line. Barista made my drink order as I paid. Drink was done fairly quickly. Small corner Starbucks right next to the metro.

This is the location at my hotel; apparently it used to be in the mall downstairs. It's small, but service is good and I haven't seen a huge line yet. The typical overpriced drinks, but, if you need coffee, you need coffee. I generally get a mocha and a pastry. The pastries are okay, not great. And again, overpriced. But sustenance is needed.

Bustling with travelers of the metro on their way in to work, electric guitar reverberates through the air from a street performer while people pickup their drinks. Many use the mobile ordering and the line is short. The barista was diligent in asking my name even making the rare effort of asking if it's an "I or Y." The Pike Roast was just right for my taste lots of flavor, not too bitter so no need for cream. I didn't wait long to hear my name shouted out above the noise as my scone was out of the oven. I searched through the line of drinks and found my cup. There is two or three tables and all were occupied. I walked around the corner and upstairs to the Starbucks in the hotel lobby. It was a totally different scene, more of the suburban feel and less bustle. There was no live music but plenty of seating.

I've always had a very pleasant experience at the Starbucks. I think it Is quite small for the traffic it gets but I understand the logic because of the location.
I mostly go to any Starbucks out of convenience, as I'd much prefer to support locally-owned, independent coffee shops, but I work in L'Enfant and don't always have the time to go to my favorites. Due to the location of this Starbucks, it is always busy. The staff is sometimes friendly, sometimes not. My drinks have mostly been right, though I always order "light ice" and that seems to be too big of an ask for these baristas. I never order in person. Between standing in line, ordering, and waiting for your drink, I can't imagine it'd be less than 15 minutes. Even if you order online, it's a long wait. The most recent time I ordered, the app said my drink would be ready in 4 minutes. I was at least 10 minutes away so I figured this was perfect. I still had to wait 10 minutes when I arrived at the location, even though the app said it was ready. The woman managing the mobile orders even told me she pushed "Ready" so that this location would meet its metrics. Unfortunately, due to its location, this Starbucks will continue to do well and stay busy. But here's hoping they will get better staff.

This location is right by my job and right off the metro, the lines can be crazy but that's expected at Lenfant plaza. The selection is pretty good and this location has mobile orders available which is convenient. My only issue is sometimes my drinks are luke warm(ex: hot chocolate) and I'll have to return or warm up in the office.

This is the worse service , maybe ever , I have never seen so many people standing around doing nothing or not be able to prioritize. I work in this location so I see it daily. Literally 8'peiple behind the counter and line out the door. I am waiting 10 min for a black coffe, which was pre-ordered. When I asked about my coffee I was told " I see you .. I see you " No one from my office goes there unless absolutely necessary .. we go to Panera .

Only stopped to grab a quick coffee before I go to the museum while there was no line, but the staff was very nice and got my drink out quickly!

I worked in the SW DC area for 1 year and 6 months, i frequented this starbucks daily, because i use metro and its located on my way out of lenfant plaza, the staff has wonderful customer service, they are patient, and when the lines are long, they put faster cashiers on the register, and the fastest blenders on the machines, i appreciate this. Also they are good with remembering faces and your everyday drinks. Ex: the management team knows i love caramel, so they always offer me new items with caramel. I absolutely love it.
