I always get coffee for my daughters and myself here when we want to get coffee out, we always order the same thing and never had any issues except for today 4/5/24 the barista with a rude tone and attitude told me I couldn’t get vanilla foam and light whipped cream on my drinks which I have gotten from them all the time and I also get an extra charge for in each drink. This lady refused to put both in my drinks, no refund given which I don’t really care it was not much $, but she didn’t even offer a refund . If they don’t want customers to add both in their drinks they should set up their app to not let customers add more than one foam or whipped cream on their drinks. I don’t think I’m going back to this store again. Not the customer service I would like to experience every time. There are better ways to address people in situations like this.

I guess Starbucks does not want any business, Because I walked out and did not buy anything because when I go into Starbucks, for the second time by the way, I was not acknowledged. Instead, the cashier is holding a conversation with a young lady at the register did not even look over and ask me if I needed any help. As a matter of fact, as I was leaving, he still did not ask me if I needed any help. I think I am done. They hire the young kids and the young kids think it’s just an atmosphere to hang out. By the way, they had someone in there hanging out that asked me for money for gas.

Love the location in DC, I came here for a meet and greet. The baristas were very accommodating when we needed extra chairs. Even though I sat inside, I didn't online order to pick up, which was very fast. There are other shops in the area as well, which is really great to know.

Sunday morning I awoke to a broken coffee maker. So I went to my local Starbucks in the Dakota Crossing Shopping Center, DC. While I was waiting to by my coffee, sandwiches, and bag of coffee I noticed a coffee press. I decided to purchase it. When I got to the register they said they could not sell it to me because it did not have a price sticker. I did not understand, why the manager could not look it up. Additionally, while I was waiting for my coffee and sandwiches a sandwich was put in front of me. I asked where was the other sandwich. I was told did you see the name Cece, are you Cece? Ordinarily, I would have reported this to the manager, but she was the manager. After that I purchased my coffee Chick-Fila the next day.

This is the worst Starbucks I've ever patronized. First of all when you walk in, you are rarely greeted because it seems the staff comes to work to play amongst themselves. There is too much chatting and not enough customer engagement. I figure if you are paying 5 bucks for a basic cup of coffee, you should receive premium service. Lastly, the shift MANAGER, STACEY is horrible, her attitude is vitriolic and un-accomodating. STACEY should not hold a leadership role in any capacity, within your company. WHEN PEOPLE SHOW YOU WHO THEY ARE BELIEVE THEM. I should have realized the first time, 5 years ago. PLEASE RETRAIN THE STAFF and FIRE STACEY!!

I’ve tried to give this Starbucks location a chance, but half the staff is truly unprofessional. I’m not sure how the regional manager hasn’t received more complaints. Even though its only a 5min walk from my house, I’d rather walk up to Rhode Island Ave to one of the coffee shops there.
