Convenient Coffee Near My Hotel We were back to Washington for some meetings for my wife on The Hill, and staying at the Hay-Adams on 16th Street NW. I went to the Starbucks at K Street, a block up from the hotel, in hope that though it was March, they might still have their Autumn/Winter Pumpkin-spiced Latte on the menu. Alas, it was too late, so I settled on a Grande Latte, instead. The line at the counter was quite short, and service was very quick. I think that being after the morning travel time helped, as I have seen this shop slammed in the past - but not at 10:00am this rather gloomy early-Spring morning. The shop has interior, and some exterior seating, and I took a table on the sidewalk, to enjoy my Latte.

In June, before our driver picked us up for the airport, I walked over to the Starbucks at 1600 K St (though I think of it as being on 16th St NW, as it is besides the P J Clarke's restaurant), for coffee. It was a bit later in the morning, but the line was still rather long - but moving quickly. I had my Grande in hand, within 5 mins, and took the opportunity to head outside, as the morning was nice and cool - a good day to be flying home. Service had been quick, and the coffee was exactly what I had expected - a nice cup of Starbucks. As we often stay on 16th St NW, I will return to this location.

This is the place I met my bff for the first time so this place holds a lot of lovely memories and feelings for me it’s the place where I can feel peaceful, I almost go there everyday, I drink my coffee and write my daily life journals , I love the team there , they’re professional and fast even if they destroyed my joyful by giving me a nasty coffee once before they closed last week but I still love this Starbucks .

Feeling tired and hungry after walking around DC, I stopped here for snacks and bathroom break. The staff was friendly and told me the code for the restroom. I ordered the Machatto Coffee and a Brownie. The Barista was friendly and explained what he was putting in my coffee. Both coffee and brownie were delicious. Total of may snack was $7.92. I'll stop here again when I'm back in the area.
