The server Merki was not in a good mood I was wondering why he had to bring the bad mood to me i was just there to get my coffee but I will never come back to this location again.
He needs a better training for customer service.

Usually I go to the Harris Teeter Starbucks but I cheated today and went to the one on New Jersey Avenue and deeply regret it. I ordered a macchiato and received half coffee half foam and my husband asked for sweet cream and she straight poured milk right in in it ….I’ll never cheat again I wish I could add the picture cause I’m confused on the foam why so much? You pay entirely too much for the coffee to begin with and then by the time I got in the house the foam was gone so what was the point?

So this salesman yesterday who was taking orders, ignored me for 20+ minutes and didn’t take my order. He pretended that he doesn’t see a customer standing and waiting for him. If that kind of customer service starbucks teaches, then I will not go there again.

Some of the laziest, most arrogant, Starbucks workers out there. Disgusting behavior, terrible service, extra long wait ALWAYS, not to mention how dark and unwelcoming the location is, but thats really not the real issue here....

I come here often as I work a short distance from this location and every time I've been here, the staff have been incredibly unfriendly, bordering on downright rude. I've often walked in as the only customer to see multiple workers and not being acknowledged at all. Then when I finally am acknowledged it is with attitude and contempt. The coffee is often very poorly made as well as made extremely differently than when another barista has made it. It seems as though none of them are following recipes or have been trained properly. I have no clue if they ever have a manager on duty but it doesn't ever seem like it. I'll be going to a different place for coffee from now on.

Savior was my barista, he was extremely rude and wouldn’t allow me to use the restroom even after I bought two coffees. Definitely needs to go through customer service training again.

I’ve been a loyal customer for over 13 years, and Starbucks has truly been a joy in starting my mornings on the right note. Throughout my career, I moved frequently and visited many Starbucks locations across the country. No matter where I went, I always felt confident in the quality and service.

Now I’ve settled in Washington, DC and unfortunately my experience has been disappointing.

At the Harris Teeter location, I’ve often found them either closed during posted business hours (6 a.m. to 9 p.m.) or out of key items I regularly order. Because of this, I started going to the New Jersey Ave location instead. However, I’ve consistently had issues there as well. On six different occasions, my drink orders have been prepared incorrectly. While I always try to kindly ask for corrections, I’m usually met with frustration from staff, which I understand given the rush hour pace - but the accuracy concerns remain. For example, today I ordered a Chai Pumpkin Latte with cold foam, and what I received was completely different.

I don’t enjoy having to raise concerns, but I feel this has gone on long enough. I know mistakes happen, but the pattern here makes it difficult to rely on either locations.

If I could rate this establishment at a -1 I would. I have never been in an establishment where the Manager is just so rude and nasty. She does not speak. Leadership sets the tone of the employees which is why there are so many comments about rude employees. She will speak to all other customers, however I looked her right in her eyes and said Hello just for her to turn her head in the other direction. At first I thought it was me, however this has happened on multiple occasions. I actually watched Ashley welcome other guests and blatantly ignored me each time. Why the discrimination?

The service and atmosphere is weird and makes me very uncomfortable.
