The seating is completely separate from the actual store. Sure it’s a door over, but weird. Staff are friendly and worked fast. Not much to say since there isn’t much here. One of the lesser pleasing Starbucks as a store, not the staff.

We ordered Starbucks every morning we were in DC. We used the mobile app to order ahead and our coffee was always ready when we got there. It was very good. Friendly staff.

I'm used to Starbucks actually having pretty nice workers which makes up for them being a little pricey.

This one however had poor customer service. The worker seemed like he couldn't care less about anyone in there.

I ordered around 9:25 and it’s been 20 minutes of my order still being received. I understand the frustrations that this Starbucks is overwhelmed considering it is connected to a hotel. After 20 minutes, my order is finally in progress. Staff are SUPER friendly though. Advice: I suggest ordering online ahead of time like 20-30 minutes ahead if you order during morning rush hour.

This Starbucks at 550 C St SW is a convenient stop if you’re near the National Mall or just need a quick caffeine fix. The staff was polite, and my drink was made correctly, which is always appreciated. The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a typical downtown Starbucks — busy but efficient. While it’s reliable and gets the job done, I can’t help but think how much more energy and fun I get from places like Dutch Bros. Still, if you’re in the area and need your standard Starbucks order, this location won’t disappoint.

The current state of affairs here is quite disappointing. Mobile orders take twice as long as advertised on the app, which clearly indicates that the store is overwhelmed. However, there’s one employee who doesn’t seem to have the customer service attitude that Starbucks expects from its staff. After being talked down by this employee, I left without my paid drink. A few weeks later, I waited 30 minutes for an order that should have taken only 15 minutes (according to the Starbucks app), and when I saw the same employee, I decided to avoid interacting with them and left again without my order. Be warned.

The service is horrible. I ordered 2 frappucino caramel with other drinks, I received only one frappucino. So I ordered a caramel again and they made me a vanilla. The waitress rolled her eyes when I told her the order was wrong. When I finally received my correct order, the frappucino had almost no whipped cream and I didn't get a straw. I asked for one and was told to take the small straws intended for liquid coffee. I don't recommend this place.

I did not see a time during my trip in which this Starbucks is not busy with the amount of customers there are. I think the staff does absolutely amazing handling the huge amount of people that come in compared to amount of people working. I was impressed on how quickly I was able to get my order considering how busy they were each time!
