I made a 20 minute trip to this location just for them to the doors locked already. Google list the closing time at 9pm, I got there at 8:39 (time stamped photos attached).This is a consistent problem for this location. Why have employees working who don’t want to work? It’s such an inconvenience and I will be contacting corporate. This is legit so unprofessional and makes Starbucks look bad.

Oh my gosh I seriously bought an espresso and was about to give up on Starbucks completely although I’ve been a loyal customer 13+ years. The two in the Navy Yard kept disappointing me, and my last pumpkin spice latte was a mess. I swore I wasn’t going back. But since it’s winter, I decided to try one more location… and wow. 2800 Alabama Ave SE completely changed my mind. The customer service was amazing everyone was upbeat, funny, and full of energy, even early in the morning when I was half asleep. Their vibe LITERALLY lifted my mood. The line looked long but moved super fast, and honestly, I’ll happily drive the extra 14 minutes across the bridge to come here. It’s worth it. And the guy with the dreads? He’s Hilarious! His energy was perfect and he seriously makes everyone smile. I hope he’s at least a manager because he was that good. This is officially my new Starbucks. Best team ever.

I ordered a medicine ball with no honey and 10 pumps of peppermint, but received one with honey and no peppermint. The printed label showed my correct customizations, so it looks like whoever prepared it didn’t read it carefully. Disappointing, especially since I ordered it for a reason.

Today I stopped by for a gingerbread latte. I like my coffee strong and I wasn’t aware the latte only came with two shots of espresso. instead of making a big deal , The staff had no issue making me another coffee more of my liking. I absolutely appreciate how patient they were with me today as I’ve had a lot going on as a furloughed government employee.
Thank you and keep up the great work here ! This has been one of my favorite locations since they’ve opened, I drive all the way from Waldorf simply because they have outstanding customer service.
I went there today for a blonde roast with two blonde shots, cream and honey. I did not receive my two blonde shots. Because I visited the drive thru, I called back for a refund of my two shots and nobody cared to answer the phone. Let me be clear, they were not busy either! Don't visit this location. Each time I come there, something negative takes place. I see why Starbuck's is closing so many of their locations. With LACKLUSTER CUSTOMER SERVICE which is what you receive here, this location will be closing soon. . .🚫☕️

This is officially my favorite Starbucks in DC. I used to frequent this location years ago and while in the area decided to stop by for breakfast on September 30th. I don't know who the young lady is who took my order at the drive through some time after 9am, but she absolutely made my morning. My drink and food were perfection! The young lady that handed me my drink and food was pleasant as well! Kudos to all at this location!
