The food at Thaiverse is original and "Thai hot", exactly what we were looking for. The menu has a great selection of Thai dishes, the taste of everything we had was excellent. We had a great time - and came back the next day. I also was very pleased to see that the few wines offered were very good choices at reasonable prices. The restaurant has a very charming ambiance and the services was nice and welcoming.
Last night the service at Thai Verse was abysmal. It was not particularly busy; were two servers for 5 tables. After a moderately long delay before ordering, we asked for a drinks menu that never came. Halfway through the meal (the food was excellent, by the way) we tried again to order drinks, asking whether we could have them before the end of the meal. The check arrived (and the drinks never did, with nary an apology). The server who cleared the plates from the next table knocked...
