Food is amazing! Favorite dish is the fish and grits... I don't usually like grits but look forward to these. Also, 'nah these aint mumbo' wings are great also!

Cute hidden gem with tasty food! This place has a lot of potential. I’m definitely coming back.

Great atmosphere, the food is very good and the service is 5 star!!! Has a family feel to it! My wife and I will frequent this restaurant!!!

Visited this place and it’s over rated .. I asked the bar tender for a strawberry henny drink and she used Martel without telling me… my sister watched her make it we already new we told her it didn’t taste rite and she eventually said oh it’s Martel?

I came to DC from out of town and where we intended to eat didn't pan out. We came to Stop Smack'n off of the recommendation of the security at neighboring El Techo. The service here was very kind and the food was amazing. The selection of choices was unique and accommodating to a non beef/pork eater such as myself. The drinks were good too. They have hookah also ;) Check 'em out!

My friends & I were here last night for a Bday party!Ramon the GM was so nice, & accommodating for our large party of 12. The owner was very friendly & came & introduced himself.The DJ who was the owner's son ....had us dancing & singing all night.The food was delicious! I had the buffalo cauliflower & Rasta pasta...which I throughly enjoyed.All good vibes. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

The food and service was impeccable. We traveled from out of town and their restaurant was highly recommended. The owner and GM are hands on. The staff members and DJ we awesome as well. I highly recommend.

Worst food I think I’ve ever had. The burger was the equivalent if eating a middle school burger. Quality wise, it didn’t even taste like a burger. The cheese, hard as if it’d been left uncovered in yhe fridge for days. Fries were meh. Nice people. That’s the only reason they get even one star. Do NOTT EAT HERE. Please, save your $40 for a burger/food that’s worth it.

Great food and drinks and great customer service !

My experience over the weekend was amazing. I went there to bring my birthday in & the staff made sure I was taken care of & the food was on point. I will be back. Hope to see the restaurant come to Charlotte NC

This place has so much potential. Great cozy vibes, cute decor, in a nice area. But that’s where the compliments end, the music was way too loud and we asked repeatedly to have it lowered and no dice, the food was okay (they were out of everything I ordered initially so while my second choice was okay it was my reason of agreeing to the restaurant. The drinks were not good (I’m not sure there was even half a serving of alcohol). We asked for a hookah and never got it so just decided to leave after paying for our meals. I wouldn’t recommend this place nor would I return.

This was by far the worst dining experience I ever had in DC!!! The service was TERRIBLE the waitress did not want to be there or serve us she kept sucking her teeth and rolling her eyes! It was my fiancé’s 30th bday and she knew that but continued to offer ghetto services! She told us we could split the bill and then got an attitude wen I asked her to split it! I will never go there again nor will I recommend anyone to go there

My favorite restaurant

I was so excited to treat my bestfriend here for her birthday but i was super disappointed. It took 40 mins for our drinks to arrive. The shrimp and fish was basically breader and i wasn’t notified they ran out of Mac and cheese and they just slapped some fries on my plate. Plus it wasn’t good. It was also very warm in there. I heard good things but it that definitely wasn’t my experience this past weekend.
