I purchased a sandwich at the SUBWAY inside George Washington cafeteria today at around 2:30 pm. There were to women working the counter and both were wearing Hijabs, both of these women have very nasty attitudes and act like they don't want to be at work let alone preparing sandwiches for anyone. Along with their bad attitudes they basically throw your sandwich together like they are extremely angry, what ever these two women problem is, I hope you explain to them it has nothing to do with the customer. I also had a chat with the manager on duty about it and he did listen to what I had to say. So thank you to the manager for listening.

There was a Spanish peaking lady who was taking our order, me and my uncle who isn't too good at english. I ordered first, HALF the things she says aren't disconcernable because she speaks too quietly, and at the same time she was seemingly speaking to someone else in Spanish (on the phone? Noone else was nearby, and can't tell if she has earphones in because of the headress) puts lettuce after I say mayonnaise, I say no louder and say mayonnaise again, and she pulls our the lettuce she has put so far and puts TOMATOES instead. Now I'm getting kinda mad, but done with it, so I repeat mayonnaise again and she gets it right finally.Next my uncle attempts to order. Now, he's bad at English, but he says clear as day, ITALIAN HERB AND CHEESE, and gets WHOLE GRAIN/WHEAT or whatever it's named instead. He asked for a "Mexicano" took multiple tries before she finnaly did it, and after she toasted it, my uncle assumed she would finnsih by adding the other stuff like the onion, the lettuce and whatnot, she asks what he wants instead, and he has to repeat he wants a "Mexicano" again, and it's done.Would. Not. Recommend.Look, I don't care if you can't speak English perfectly, but atleast TRY to listen to the customer instead of talking to whoever you are talking to. I dont care if it's a family member, or your invisible friend from 4th grade you havent gotten rid of yet. If it is SO important, then stop taking orders, FINNSIH your conversation, and THEN take the orders.Ratings explainedFood: 1 star because it was wrong, the customer shouldent have to compromise because you were too busy talking to listen.Service: 1 star, need I say more?Atmosphere: 2 stars, the ladies working at the Starbucks across from it are nice, and they will get your order right, they made the atmosphere better after dealing with this absolute dogsh*t of a worker

Lackadaisical workers on evening shift. Seemingly have no concerns about customer service. Will see a regular customer coming and will proceed to start a conversation with another worker, then turn around and start stocking food tray still ignoring regular customer. To be fair, there is a male employee on this shift who doesn't do this. Always courteous and get work done in a timely way.

Horrible ! Disrespectful. The guy made my sandwich with everything I didn’t ask for. He switched it at the end. He laughed at the end, turned out the person I ordered for is allergic to wheat bread and she’s pregnant !! I asked the guy who made it, was it wheat bread he said no and laughed. This could have and still can be a lawsuit! The guy tried to disregard me when I went back to let him know about what he did. Lucky me, employees stopped in to help me. This guy is something else, something bad. Shouldn’t treat people bad especially when you don’t know them

Didn't eat there. Employee coughing and looked sick. Also did the wash the fingertips for 3 seconds like he was really washing his hands after sneezing everywhere. Bad hygiene in the hospital

One of the best spots to get a fresh meal...especially if you're watching calories. My favorite...Tuna on a spinach wrap....YUMMY EVERY TIME SUBWAY AT GW HOSPITAL IS THE SPOT!!! The staff there are also a pleasure to meet and will ensure you get exactly what you want the way you want it!
