I was genuinely surprised to see so many low-rated reviews. I visited for lunch for the first time and had a great experience. Compared to other Subways I’ve been to, this location was noticeably clean and well-kept. The staff were friendly, efficient, and kept the line moving quickly — even though I was about eighth in line, I was in and out in no time. I also appreciated the upstairs dining area, which offers a nice space to sit and enjoy your meal.

I went to buy a sub, and I saw another customer being charged $3 for a soda, but I was charged more when I paid with my card. I asked the short lady at the cash register, and she didn't provide an answer. It was the exact same drink we was both getting. I felt like I had been robbed.

Poor customer service, don’t go to this subway, 1959 E Street NW location, went out for quick lunch run purchased items 6 inch sandwich, drink, chips, total $14.. Im asking why so much.. at the time didn’t see the meal of the day they have posted.. for $6.99 which is somewhat more reasonable…. Here is the disrespect and poor customer service.. When I request can I switch to the meal of the day..spoke with the manager.. about the switch.. 2 of the workers begin to speak in Spanish and they were looking at me laughing.. instantly poor customer service..and the manager tried to cover it up.. No still poor customer service so they made the switch and they threw the other food prepared in the trash.. it’s sad because there aren’t any decent places to eat which everything is gone.. if you can bring your food from home or find another spot.. dealing in the food industry you the customer should always feel welcome and satisfied.. The new meal made was thrown together..

Im a freshman at GW and sometimes I stop by here to pick up a sandwich on my way to campus. The lady that works there in the morning is super nice and always serves my sandwich with a smile. I think her name is Naysla. She is very gentle and skilled at her work, while showing great leadership skills. She makes my experience way better.

I have worked in this area for many years, and I am a fan of Subway due to the location from my office. I'm not sure how long this young lady Naysla Perez has been working at Subway, but it is always a pleasure seeing her. Her customer service is great. I'm always greeted with a smile and a pleasure atmosphere. She is patience, perlite and have a good memory. She knows what I want and how I want it.

I work next door at GWU, so this Subway location is quite convenient for me. However, recent experiences have unfortunately confirmed other reviews about the rude service. I recommend avoiding this place, especially given that Washington offers plenty of stores with friendly, polite, and professional staff.
