When I saw the reviews of this Subway location I was hesitant to go there because they described the food quality as unsatisfactory. However, since I had to get on the Metro early in the day and wanted to grab lunch for later in the day I went there anyway - twice in one week. Fortunately, the person staffing the location, Miriam, was excellent, and the ingredients were fresh and tasty.

Very kind, very clean restraunt and bathroom. Good food. My girlfriend and I got there just before they closed they allowed us to sit inside until after they closed when our metro broke down.

I went to this location today (4/9/25) to order Pizza. The guy at the counter was being very rude and unprofessional regarding toppings. The subway pizza comes with 1 topping of Cheese and I have never been charged extra at this location until today. That guy was keep saying “it’s going to be extra if I add any cheese on the pizza” and proceeded to NOT add cheese at all. I reminded him to add cheese what should be included in the order and he again asked “Are you gonna pay?” I said yes. I go to this location 4/week and never been charged for cheese on pizza. During the checkout he did not mention $2 for cheese ( because technically you cannot charge for normal cheese amount on pizza)
At the end, if you want to be mistreated and get charged extra for nothing. Go to this location.

This location advertises its Thurs closing hour as 10pm, yet the employee closed the shop early. Not the first time this has happened. If employees can't handle working on Georgia Ave, then don't hire them to work on Georgia Ave; hire the ones who can. It's in poor taste to accept employment in a neighborhood and then make up your own store hours bc you are fearful of the residents. I ended up giving my business to BeBop two doors down. Subway Manager or local Franchise Owner: be aware of this early closing habit. Us residents of Petworth have had enough of this type of reactionary behavior. We work here, we spend our money here, and we expect to have ethical business practices here. Patrons: hungry later at night? Skip this Subway. It's likely not open anyway.

I haven’t had subway in a long time. I happen to get a gift card today and decided to go get a wrap. I had bypass so I can’t eat their subs the bread is too thick. Asking for a spinach wrap I learned they don’t have them anymore and they only have square wraps not circle….soon as he took the “wrap” out I immediately voiced I didn’t want it and to give me a flat bread. Another server took over also forcing me to keep said wrap talking about how good it will be. Well it’s not! Hard to chew hard to swallow it was literally the worst “wrap” I ever encountered and inedible. For the simple fact that I asked multiple times for a different bread and was bullied into accepting this is maddening. Bread feel and taste like cardboard

Got a $15 foot long that promises lots of meat. It was ok, not the meatiest sandwich ever but not bad.
I've been going to this location for more than 2 years now about, and one of the guy's who works there remembers my order by heart, it's amazing.The staff there are really kind and friendly. They've been times where I haven't gone in awhile, and they always ask, "Where you been? How are you?" I find that sh*t wholesome.Food is what you would expect from a Subway, double chocolate cookies 10/10. The bottled drinks aren't cold very, so you may need to chill them or add ice. I think it's just their mini fridge.I always tip them when I go too because the service is so stellar.

I highly recommend going to ANOTHER SUBWAY , the lady worker is so stingy with the food being provided! She barely gives you anything on your sandwich and charges extra for a little bit more ! Save your time and get what your moneys worth SOMEWHERE ELSE!
