The store is located in Library of Congress: James Madison Memorial Building. There are ample seats which are very clean and comfortable. Charging ports are also available. I usually preorder before I arriving at the store through Subway APP and there are bunches of promo codes available to redeem such as SIXINCHSUB to get a 6” sub for $3.99 and 699FL to get any footlong for $6.99. All the staff are kind and friendly and they complete my order before the estimated time shown in the APP.

Staff is rude. They are super skimpy on their veggies. They charge for bags and straws and claim every subway in DC charges. I have definitely gone to more subways than the subway employees in the Madison building. What employees eat at the same franchise establishment they work at when they’re off work?? They just rudely dismissed me when I asked for a bag and they wanted five cents for it. That’s fine if they need to charge me but can you ask before you run my card like standard subway protocol is to put the sub in the bag. Just put it in the bag. Rude rude rude. And picks altercations with customers. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? Poor customer service.

Convenient location, but the service and food is just mediocre. To me the toppings don't always taste fresh. The service is slow and sandwich servers always look unenthused and.spaced out. There is one lady who is really nice, she's usually at the head of the serving line, the rest are so-so.
