The bubble tea is great here. Definitely a place to keep coming back to.

Staff refused to make a drink because “it takes to long” and when I asked to sample the ice cream he said I could only try three flavors because there was a line. Very bad customer services. Wish I knew how their product was but I did not even have a chance to try it. I refuse to spend my money where I am not appreciated as a customer.

Walked in on a Saturday night. They were pretty much out of everything. Great concept. Poorly run. Shouldn't run out of everything if managed well. Didn't get to try anything since everything we ordered was out. Was very excited to try it though.

If you're looking for a solid boba place or dessert place in Georgetown, definitely check out Sugar Lab. I wasn't super impressed when they first opened, but I went back not too long ago, and they worked ALL of their kinks...and they have the best matcha gelato I've ever tasted. If you think it's too cold for ice cream, no worries. They have this really cool (and super unique) dessert you HAVE to try. It's their puffle (aka egg waffle) with boba foam + tapioca pearls. The texture is out of this world, and who doesn't like piping hot egg waffles? Also, make sure you try their rose thai tea. Not only is it beautiful, it's nomtastic too! You're welcome in advance.

Had not had the bubble tea there yet but the egg waffle is absolutely amazing. I went for the matches flavored egg waffle and it's the perfect blent and eggy sweetness and bitter matcha. I also had matcha and chocolate gelato topping with crushed peanuts, chocolate drizzle, and mochi, all combined to give a rich matcha and nutty flavor. Definitely recommend!

Will not be returning to this place ever to give them a second chance. Tonight, June 29, my family and I decided to stop by for bubble tea because this was one of the very few locations that was on our way and would be open until 10:30. I got here at 9:57, with a group of other people as well, and we were all very confused as to why the door was locked when we had all done a Google search prior and saw that it closes at 10:30. One of the workers confirmed that they were closed. A few moments later, another worker was escorting a customer who was exiting the restaurant, and I had inquired about why the place was closed when a) we had come on time and b) the place closed at 10:30, according to Google. The worker told me “Sorry! We're closing early because we have to do deep cleaning.” Mind you, there was no note on the door, the hours on Google did not say anything about the location closing early, absolutely nothing. To come MORE than half an hour before the posted closure time, only to be turned away is unacceptable, disappointed, and very unprofessional of the business.

This place is incredible! It's not that busy, and although well know for their bubble tea, their ice cream is amazing. You can buy a giant scoop of ice cream in an actual waffle with toppings for $9 or so including tax. And the flavors are delicious!! Highly recommend as a pop in or sit down for one of these incredible cones.

Basically the worst boba I've had. I literally ordered it and threw it away after two sips. Kinda sad since I love me some boba on a hot day and i hate to spend $5 just like that. So the good: location, the sell ice cream and gelato - although maybe specializing would improve the quality. Also the staff was nice and the size of the bubble tea cups were reasonable given the price of about $5. The bad: the place wasn't the cleanest. The strawberry boba was TERRIBLE- it wasn't actual boba they were like some bubble that popped in your mouth and burst out some flavored liquid - nasty!! I had the coconut milk tea and it taste like plane milk. Also the staff are walking around in sandals && looked like they rolled out of bed...and I didn't see anyone wearing a hair net or gloves for all the waffle making. The space is small but functional given people aren't going to hang out there all evening. Basically most tourist come here to take pictures of their waffle cones filled with ice cream and topping. It's a good instagram photo but beyond that, the boba is trash.

Super Good! Place under the street in Georgetown. Great ice cream waffle things, eat with a spoon, one is enough for two to share. How romantic!!

Really liked the presentation of the ice cream. The bubble waffle tasted very good. My only problem is that the coconut flakes were super bitter and this kind of dampened the enjoyment of the rest of the dish. The seating area could have been more clean; the bathroom was clean however.
