I really like this place for a breakfast meal on the way to work. It's small and not much room inside when busy. Bench top seating along the front windows and maybe one or two outside tables during the nice seasons. Service has been amazing over the several months I've worked in the area.

Tasty food, reasonable price, great service. If I could change one thing, it would be the size of the restaurant.

Very good breakfast and the customer service is wonderful. I go there 2 to 3 times a week for breakfast

Really great experience! Had a little time to spare before an appointment, saw this place, and decided to stop in and grab breakfast. I ended up getting the bacon, egg, and cheese on toast and it was simply delicious! It came out pretty quickly, was hot, and good. Great service, and good prices!

This was an awesome little place with generous portions for their prices. Try the gyro omelet!

The breakfast was incredibly solid. The pancakes, eggs and bacon hit the spot. I returned the next day for a bacon egg and cheese croissant. Also good, but could've used another egg on it, even for an up-charge. The prices were very reasonable as well.

Nothing fancy but simple is the best kind of delicious. Limited seating at the window bar, so either plan on takeout or go when there is weather for outside seating. I got the corned beef hash breakfast platter and it was exactly what I wanted. We also got a breakfast sandwich which was enjoyed with the coffee. Fast service. Simple and delicious food. No frills. Excellent prices!

Breakfast ok. Prices not ok...Simple breakfast sandwich over $10, WOP ( way over price) -just that, imagine if you include drink and a cookie... probably $20 over...

Saturday morning breakfast was super fast, Restaurant was clean. Ordered the gyro omelet, came with breakfast potatoes and toast and was very filling. Small place just a little bar to sit at and if the weather's nice a nice outdoor area too.

One of very few places in DC where you can get a good breakfast sandwich, coffee, a quality bagel and quick service for under $10.

Really solid local cafe. Reminds me of old school hole in the wall spots that are becoming rarer with the rise of chain coffee shops. Everything bagel w/ bacon, egg, and cheese was fresh. Will definitely come back

This place is next-door to the Mayflower hotel on 17th St. If you do not want to pay for overpriced breakfast at the hotel, this is where you want to go. The first time I tried Sunrise Cafe was a few months back, and I got the corn beef hash plus eggs. This time I got a tuna salad sandwich on a croissant which they heated up for me and was really good. Fantastic breakfast or lunch under $12, can't beat it! Inside are 4 windows seats, and a few tables + chairs outside.

Eggs, sausage, bacon, fried potatoes, bagels …..filtered coffee! What more do you want? Service is quick. Food is tasty and portions are just about right. The shop is tiny so sit outside when it’s dry. Squeeze into a metal stool at the window if it’s not - and watch the raindrops.
