We love Sushería! Come here every time my parents are in town, and it’s consistently the best. Highly recommend the Spicy Tuna Squares, Pisco Sours, and the Georgetown Roll. Gabriela is the best!

Went there for a date with my wife. Food was fantastic. Portion sizes were not that great, but it's a high end restaurant.Everything was going well till I saw a rodent, a mouse or baby rat emerge from under another table next to us. Staff apologized but asked me three times if I had actually seen it. Yes, I had. Why would I make that up?Things spiraled from there. Staff moved only us, not the other couple seated next to us that were within 5 feet of the rodent. I did not understand that at all. Staff offered us two free drinks which were useless to us because we were leaving anyway and were done eating. One staff member told me she thought the rodent must be 'lost.' it was the stupidest thing I've ever heard under circumstances like that honestly.Management took a 10 dollar dessert off our tab and nothing else. If they had waived the entire bill I would have not posted I told myself before they brought the check. But here we are.Our total tab was $130. So think of it this way. Management thought they'd rather pocket the $130 and instead eat one terrible review about a rodent in their establishment.Where else are these people trying to save money with respect to the food you are being fed? Don't even want to think about it.Done with this place for good. Hope the appropriate local government body inspects them soon.

Went for my wedding anniversary and it was a huge disappointment. The waitress was very rude. She was not attentive and actually appeared annoyed to be bothered at all with any questions. Happy hour items were only available for those at the bar, which was empty. Menu items could not be modified, which made it difficult for my son. The food wasn't bad, but nothing special. Ambiance was nice but would recommend they place more emphasis on making the dining experience more enjoyable by hiring more qualified servers. The manager did attempt to make it up to us with dessert on the house, which was appreciated, but we opted to just leave at that point to salvage our anniversary by celebrating elsewhere. Would not recommend.

Went there for a date with my wife. Ambiance was good. The decor is very elegant and makes you feel like you've come to a high end, well curated spot. Food was fantastic. The sushi in particular was very good. As good if not better than The Hamilton. Drinks were great. A well kept industry secret is alcoholic beverages are often watered down to save cost. Not at this place. One Manhattan and I was good for the night! :) Looking forward to our next visit there to try something else on the menu! We had an issue at the restaurant but since posting a review here (which I removed), management reached out with a fair offer to compensate us for the inconvenience. in the end they dealt with things in a professional manner.

It was a special trip to DC for my son's birthday but the waitress could have cared less. He was turning 18 and felt like she acted like he wasn't there. It did not make him feel good at all. The food was good.

The sushi was very good ?? but for those who are in the mood for something different we were surprised to see the Lomo Saltado on the menu. It is a Peruvian dish with steak ? pictured. That dish was simply amazing. The atmosphere is very chic and a great place for a date. Highly recommend. ?

Gabriella was such an incredible joy to work with. She was vibrant and joyful. Her customer service was impeccable. She was the best server I have experienced in the Georgetown area. I am hopeful to come back here to experience this place again.

Nice upbeat vibe with music constantly I. The background. We can hear many years ago (it may have been under different ownership and different name) and loved it. We came In for drinks and lite eats at the bar . Ordered a cab and the salmon squares. It wasn’t what we expected (salmon was puréed) . We didnt have a chance to try the rest of the menu but not f you like fusion- sushi, you will want to try this place.

Food was good, but service was horrendous, our server Camila Ramirez had a nasty attitude and was very disrespectful, lots of eye rolling, walking away mad when brought the wrong dish. I spoke to the manager and he apologized for her behavior Not once did Camila apologized for her behavior, she came to the table with small cups of chicha to say “this is for the misunderstanding with the Sebastian” my family and I ate our appetizers and left to a restaurant across the street.

The food took hours (literally) and the quality was very mediocre. Service was slow and erratic. They were all clearly overwhelmed with a full restaurant. Overpriced. I won't return ever.
