We had miso soup, salad, donkatsu and unagi on rice. Food was good but we have had much better version of the same dishes in nearby Virginia. Service was good but can be better. If the server gave us a bit more time to discuss the menu, we would have ordered more. There were too many queries by the server and other staff as to whether everything is ok. We found the frequent queries a bit annoying when we were mid sentence. Finesse is lacking in service and the food. However, we are grateful for hot edible food, thank you.

A fun spot and so close to Metro Center. Staff is super friendly and the service is quick. We loved everything, except the rice which seemed slightly old and dry. I'm sure it was not the norm considering how good everything else was.

Nice little sushi place. It is a bit small inside, but that is probably just due to the odd location. Sushi was fresh and tasty. I also personally felt it was a pretty good deal for the price... especially considering how much I can eat.

The food and service were fine, just hated having the woman talking on her phone on speaker all through her dinner.

Since coming back from Japan I've been very critical of sushi in the states. This is a great sushi spot in DC that is not overpriced.

Lunch on Monday at noon, seating was fairly full but there were tables for two. We had the chirashi and futomaki. Chirashi bowl was full and fresh, with more fish than needed for one person. The futomaki was basic yet enjoyable. Overall enjoyable experience, although our tucked away table was quite close to the one next to us. If you’re searching for a quick bite for lunch in DC, would recommend.

Stopped here for dinner but was unimpressed for the price. Spent $100 for two people and the sushi was mid at best. The presentation was lack-luster.
Our waiter was extremely nice and tentative though which improved the overall experience.

Not sure how the reviews are so great. I agree with one of the reviews that the rolls have way too much rice! The rolls were heavy and unexciting. Average sushi at best. The miso soup was great and the service was good.

Very friendly staff and the food looked good. That's all the pluses. The restaurant is completely unsanitary, very dirty. Unfortunately, we were met with a great reception by the staff and decided to stay in this place. My daughter and I ate sushi and after three hours we felt a pain in the stomach, and then vomiting followed. In short, we got food poisoning in this place and our vacation is ruined!!!
