Restaurant could use a little TLC as it’s outdated, small, and hard to get around. As with a lot of Asian restaurants, detail to decor a bathrooms fall behind food quality and prep. And they delivered with the food!!
Can’t beat the $20 bento box deal for the amount of food, variety, and quality.

I went to there today around 5 PM and I gotta salmon nigiri they were okay but spicy salmon and an eel avocado roll they were terrible I couldn’t eat them also there was really cold inside I couldn’t even take off my jacket I was freezing so not going back there! I’m not recommending this place at all!!! I don’t understand why this place has 4 star :( I just wanted to try new place.

Sushi is fresh and a good size. Wasabi is nicely potent. Their Agedashi tofu is the best I've tasted ever! Service is attentive, friendly and helpful. Ambience is unremarkable but serviceable if all you are after is a reasonably priced yet delicious sushi meal in downtown DC

Super dry and overcooked katsu curry. I ordered the chicken katsu curry and the Philly roll. Chicken katsu was over cooked, super dry, and tough. The curry's flavor was ok, but it had large chunks of raw carrots that clearly weren't cooked in the curry as they were all crunchy. Finally for the Philly roll, the avocado was completely black on the peeled side. Flavor was only ok, but clear the avocado sat out. Will not ordering from here again.

Ordered 5 rolls takeout and all of them had so much rice you couldn’t taste the fish and they were hard to swallow. We had even asked for them to be cut small and they didn’t so maybe that would’ve helped.
