We went for the summer restaurant week. You get a cold and a hot appetizer, assortment of sushi and a dessert. We opted for the soft shell crab and shabu shabu ramen, both were delicious and served hot out of the kitchen. Sushi is top quality and decadent of course. Hojicha pudding is uniquely toasty and silky.

Not all RW deals are worth going, but I’d recommend the selection at sushi taro for the quality and the value of the food.
Went there during restaurant week. First dish to start with yellow tail was good. Second dish was spicy noodles and miso butter grilled salmon. The noodles was way too greasy and the noodles were overcooked. I personally thought the miso salmon dish itself did not go well together. Third dish was sushi plate. Nothing really special, but the toro was pretty bad compared to many other omakase toro I have had. It did not have much fat and did not taste good. Service was mediocre....
A marvelous delicious experience. However as a well rated esteemed restaurant a suggested appropriate dress code should be utilized . Also loud voiced individuals on speaker phones with friends not in the restaurant should not be allowed . The restaurant is a marvelous culinary experience yet due to attire along with loud patrons the restaurant is diminished loosing the degree of respect it deserves
