Great good, great drinks. The worst salsa. Please create a new salsa recipe.

Need to amend old review. Salsa better. Needs more salt. Food portions way too small for price. Somehow just spent $73 for 2 people and still hungry.

I would take 2Amys over this any day.

Response to owner: what was the ounces of the steak entree? It was 5 oz of flank steak— maybe even less. And of course you hide your guacamole in lettuce to give the impression you’re giving more.

This is my new favorite restaurant for delicious Mexican food. I have enjoyed each visit here. My favorites on the menu are the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos, Chorizo Tacos, Fried Yuca, Lomo Saltado, and the Chile Relleno Y Pork Enchilada. My recent favorite has been a special that's a ribeye steak and two shrimp, I just forgot what it's called. My friends and family have tried the fajitas and the Carmarones A La Diabla from what I can remember. Both looked amazing.

The service has been solid most nights, and reservations are easy to make. The restaurant is narrow with a good number of TVs, so that could be good or bad depending on the type of environment you want. But one side of every table I have been there are seats that don't face a TV. There is some outdoor seating as well. Parking has been easy for the most part, especially on MacArthur Blvd.

We order tacos and carne asada to go. The Carne asada didn’t have pico de gallo and tortilla. How can you sell carne asada without tortilla? The taco order had only two tacos $16 for 2 tacos ? I guess the neighbors don’t know how true Mexican food should be.

Sweet Agave is one of the best kept secrets in Washington DC. It delivers on all levels and it has very tasty Mexican food. The people are wonderful. The service is super. You don't find this very easily, especially in Washington so, highly recommended as much as I hate to see the place crowded I like it exactly how it is !right now, but they really deserve it.
