Just left and was very disappointed the young lady was rude and food was trashhhhh… The first time I went I waited 20 mins for cabbage to go with my brown stew chicken after waiting in line the young lady said she was sorry but that she forgot I was waiting and sold the last of the brown stew chicken to someone else… (crazy right) against my better judgement I gave them another try today and was disappointed yet again.. Only got brown stew chicken just to try before I ordered a variation of things like I usually do.. Chicken was full of straight oil no flavor just grease.. A total waste of $20 threw it straight in the trashhhhhh!!! Will never support this place again and will tell everyone I know who will listen about the nasty food and poor customer service!!!

I’m not sure who is cooking over at Sweet Sweet kitchen but I’ve been a customer for 5 years and I have NEVER received food like this! Burnt chicken and some type of sauce on top of my food that was extremely hot that I did not ask for. I am highly disappointed. When did yall start adding stuff without notifying the customer? I’ve been raving about this place all over social media and have sent hundreds of ppl here, just to get jail food in return is a slap in the face. Food was spilled all in the bag as well. Whole plate went in the trash.

I actually enjoy Sweet Sweet’s food, but their customer service is very poor. I’ve called ahead multiple times to confirm they have certain items, yet they never do. They often tell me to come on a specific day, but when I arrive, it’s still unavailable. It’s been a repeated waste of time and a clear example of poor customer service.

Everything has gone down hill. The workers are rude .I feel bad for chef Mosada because they are running his customers away. Food quality and taste very poor now. Customer service is trash.

I would like to start by saying this is not my first time visiting sweet sweet kitchen. I am a returning customer when sweet suite 1st open they had one chef and two servers then I would say 10 out of 10. At this time, I would say they have some work to do on Thursday, August 7 I decided to stop by and get some food for lunch. I first noticed that they were closed but they were supposed to open at 11 o’clock so I asked do you know when you guys will be open they told me five minutes I waited five minutes, not long five minutes turned into 25 minutes. I decided not to get anything because by the time I do get something I won’t be able to eat and enjoy because my break was over. I had to head back to work Friday, August 9. I decided to come again for lunch. They was not open. I waited 30 minutes they open, but I didn’t decide to get food because I was upset and I want time to enjoy my food, not have to rush so I can’t get back to work on time. I save this to say I am very disappointed in sweet sweet kitchen and I will not return to them Again.

I have eaten from here plenty of times 0n 7/12 / 25 . The oxtails was tough and no taste in the Cassava leaf taste terrible. I called the place and told them that I was not satisfied that the food tastes awful. The young lady said what do you want me to do?

Very underwhelming. I was referred by a friend of mine to try this place because he knows I love Jamaican food. Of course it’s Nigerians trying to make Jamaican food here so that was my first sign not to trust it. I should’ve ordered the other African food items because the Oxtail and rice was not nearly as good as Jerk At Nite up the street on H street. Definitely needs more all spice or browning but the flavor wasn’t like the Jamaican flavors I’m used to. I’ll give them a try in the near future but I wouldn’t recommend any Oxtail or Curry from these guys. I understand everyone wants to be a chef these days but PLEASE… stick to what you are used to and be great. This place advertised like they are Jamaican and they are not.

I ordered the jerk. The guys were very personable and accommodating. Best I’ve had since moving to dc. Food and service was great! 👍🏾

I have patronized this establishment for about 3yrs and the food has gone down. When say down I mean ground level. What's really going on in there? Who is doing the cooking?
